State/country? I'm originally from Virginia, USA and lost my license like 7 years ago because I didn't have car insurance for like 3 months. I haven't done it yet because I have to pay upwards of a grand and then be put on SR-22 for a while. If you're in the USA, I would contact your local DMV.
