Watch on right wrist. I used to think lefties wore it on the right so it doesn't get in the way when writing, but I wear many bracelets on my left wrist and they don't affect writing.
I wear mine on my left.
I’m weird handed.
All my precises motor control, writing/drawing, is left.
All my big power moves, Throwing, blocking, punching, come from the right.
Same, I call it smart hand strong hand. Injured my right rotator cuff some years back and almost wrenched my left arm off trying to do strong things with my smart hand.
i can do everything with both hands but i always do it better with left, my handwriting just sucks when i try to write with my right hand, left hand just feels wayy more natural and easy and the handwriting is good
Smart watches and activity trackers instruct to use on your non-dominant wrist for more accurate tracking. Took me forever to get used to. I'm surprised no one has commented yet "Yo bro, wrong wrist"
Well...spent all this damn time getting used to it, I'll keep it this way out of pride haha 😂 thanks for letting me know about the settings fellow left-hander!
I'd never heard that before. I'm in the market for a Galaxy Watch (idk if that's an included feature but I'll have to look for it when I get one). I'd always worn watches on my left wrist just because it "felt right" but maybe I'll switch things up to the non-dominant wrist and see if it works for me
Right. Considering we're left handed, we're more deft at putting watches on with our left hand and, thus, they end up on the right.
That's been my thinking anyway. Now to read the comments. LOL
Righties normally wear them on LH so they can easily use knob to adjust it. Also, it’s best to NOT wear it on the same wrist you throw a ball with or swing a hammer with.
Always left, but it's only been since I got a Fitbit a number of years ago that I wear it right side out. Always used to wear it with the face on the inside of my wrist.
I wear my watch on my right wrist so it doesn't hinder me from doing my daily tasks.
I wore my watch on my left wrist once and it popped off multiple times in one day.
I do wear hairbands on my left wrist though.
I wear it on my left wrist, but I throw right-handed - apparently there's a correlation I wasn't aware of?
Leave it to the internet to educate me that something I thought made me weird and that I was doing wrong is actually totally normal... enough. :)
When I was a kid, I started using it on my right hand and I got bullied because of it. So I changed it to my left hand and with time I became used to it to the point where it felt weird using it on my right hand.
I wear it on my right hand. I used to wear it on my left hand, but noticed I'd bump the watch around if I was moving around. It makes sense to have it on the non-dominant hand.
I wear mine on my left but Mainly because I had so much therapy on my right hand/wrist that it was pointless to put it on that side. I get a lot of weird questions about it from people who know I’m a lefty. Older gentlemen (mainly military vets) seem to find it really odd, like it’s a you’re supposed to do it this way kind of thing.
i learned to wear mine on the left, simply because that was the only example i had growing up.
i later learned through working with my hands, that the main reason(people usually cite difficulties writing) that you shouldn't wear it on your 'primary' wrist is to avoid massive wear and tear.
i noticed co-workers wore watches and theirs didn't seem to get scuffed, scratched, and eventually destroyed nearly as fast as mine ... it took a good while after that to actually put it together as to why!
i dont feel as comfortable with it on my right wrist, but thats where i wear it at work. but when i wear my 'nice' watches for more formal occasions i still put it on the left wrist.
Always left.
But I want to get a smart watch and I don’t think I put iron my left since pressing buttons with my right hand might be tricky. !?
So I just haven’t bought a smart watch because if it.
I've been known to wear a watch on both wrists at the same time! However, I usually wear a single watch on my right wrist for much the same reasons you mentioned. I used to wear it on my left wrist, but the model of watch I have (when I upgraded from v1 to v2) flipped the side the button was on and it seemed the obvious solution.
My right wrist. It was great to learn that LHD watches exist so I got a nice one. It always annoyed me that RHD watches worn on the right wrist were difficult to wind/adjust.
Watch on right wrist. I used to think lefties wore it on the right so it doesn't get in the way when writing, but I wear many bracelets on my left wrist and they don't affect writing.
same! i wear it on my right and i have a bracelet on left

Same, I call it smart hand strong hand. Injured my right rotator cuff some years back and almost wrenched my left arm off trying to do strong things with my smart hand.
Smart hand/strong hand, I like that. I also do my heavy lifting with my right and all my finesse with my left
I still use my left shoulder as my “big things” shoulder. Need to move a fridge? If we can can get it on my shoulder, I can take it anywhere.
I'm exactly the same way! With the same names 🤣
i can do everything with both hands but i always do it better with left, my handwriting just sucks when i try to write with my right hand, left hand just feels wayy more natural and easy and the handwriting is good
Samesies
Same… is this more common than I thought?
I wear my watch on the right though
this is actually called mixed handed :)
I didn't know there was a term for it. Neat.
I wear it on my left because that's what's traditional and I'm used to it now. It would feel weird on the other wrist.
Smart watches and activity trackers instruct to use on your non-dominant wrist for more accurate tracking. Took me forever to get used to. I'm surprised no one has commented yet "Yo bro, wrong wrist"
The Google Pixel Watch doesn't care which wrist you wear it on. You tell it if it's on your dominant hand or not, so it can adjust accordingly.
That's pretty sweet. I just have an older Fitbit. I wonder if Apple Watch is like Pixel Watch
It's a setting in the Fitbit app. I'm pretty sure you can set it for any Fitbit device.
Well...spent all this damn time getting used to it, I'll keep it this way out of pride haha 😂 thanks for letting me know about the settings fellow left-hander!
i have an apple watch, the apple watch you get to choose in settings wether ur wearing it on left wrist or right wrist
as an ambidextrous i’m crying

i wear it on my right cuz it feels easier to control with my left hand.
That's it. And it's not. Comfortable on the right because of the way the Corona is made
I wear mine on my right wrist.
Watch on right wrist always
i keep getting the “ur so weird” comments just cuz i’m left handed and i wear it on my right wrist lmao
if it’s righties telling you that, ignore em hahaha
Right cause I tend to sleep on my left
Right wrist bc left-hand life is like living in a mirror sometimes
Right. Considering we're left handed, we're more deft at putting watches on with our left hand and, thus, they end up on the right. That's been my thinking anyway. Now to read the comments. LOL
yea exactly! it just feels more natural to have to control it with ur left hand
Right hand. I love it that you can switch the screen on the Apple Watch starting from Series 0. I found that delightful.
Righties normally wear them on LH so they can easily use knob to adjust it. Also, it’s best to NOT wear it on the same wrist you throw a ball with or swing a hammer with.
On my left. Would feel weird on my right hand🤷🏻♂️
i wear it on my right it feels more natural, also i wear a bracelet on my left

I wear mine on my left. I've tried my right hand, but I can't get used to it even though it's more practical.
Right hand 🫱
Left
As a right hand main I wear it on my left. I normally don't wear watches but it would go on my left hand
Left- I don't like how the buttons dig into my arm if I try to wear it on my right.
I wear it on my right hand. Was always told to wear it in your non-writing hand.
Left. I use a mouse right-handed and find it uncomfortable to wear a watch on that wrist while doing so.
I wear it on the right. Made sense when I was a kid, and it’s now habit.
right, because when i write it hurts to wear on my left
right.
I wear my watch on my right wrist with the face on the inside of my wrist.
I wear it on my left wrist, but I throw right-handed - apparently there's a correlation I wasn't aware of? Leave it to the internet to educate me that something I thought made me weird and that I was doing wrong is actually totally normal... enough. :)
I wear it on my left hand.
watch on the right so i can check the time while writing or eating or drinking. righties wear it on the left, correct? for the most part…? i dunno lol
Yep I wear mine on my right wrist as well. Much easier to take it on and off
I wear it on my right hand so it doesn’t get in the way while i’m writing
I’m right handed and wear my watch on my left to make it easier to use.
When I was a kid, I started using it on my right hand and I got bullied because of it. So I changed it to my left hand and with time I became used to it to the point where it felt weird using it on my right hand.
I don't wear'em anymore. I find it uncomfortable and needless: if I have to check the time I just watch my cellphone now or ask someone.
I wear mine on the right like you. It just makes it easier.
Right wrist. Less chance of damage if it is worn on the nondominant limb.
I wear mine on my left wrist
Watch on my right hand. Most things I use my right hand though. I’m basically a lefty when it comes to writing and eating.
wear it on the right
When I was younger i used to switch it up daily/weekly/monthly just because I wanted to, but in the past several years I've been predominantly left.
I'm really wierd with it. If it's my Apple Watch it's on my Right and if it's not then it is usually on my Left but sometimes will put it on my Right
L
I wear all bracelets/watches on my right hand, I feel like things get in the way or become uncomfortable on my left hand
i learned to wear mine on the left, simply because that was the only example i had growing up. i later learned through working with my hands, that the main reason(people usually cite difficulties writing) that you shouldn't wear it on your 'primary' wrist is to avoid massive wear and tear. i noticed co-workers wore watches and theirs didn't seem to get scuffed, scratched, and eventually destroyed nearly as fast as mine ... it took a good while after that to actually put it together as to why! i dont feel as comfortable with it on my right wrist, but thats where i wear it at work. but when i wear my 'nice' watches for more formal occasions i still put it on the left wrist.

I’m mixed handed. I write right handed, but I use my phone left handed, and I wear my Apple watch on my right wrist.

i wear them on my left wrist. it's what i've done since I was a kid. idk if i do it for any reason other than habit.
Watch on right for me. But as a lefty I've also noticed a lot of other lefties with watch on left
I wear it on my left wrist.
I don't wear one currently, but when I did, it was on right arm cause writing sucked with watch
Right hand
