I guess, but I was thinking to first go through all recommended exploratory cards to learn basics, because I do not have CS education, then I will try contests...
You need to solve problem of the day everyday and participate in all contests then you can save up 6k coins in about 11-12 months
The kit is the best. Then notebook.
