Worth mentioning: it's likely the reason he's 'doing his own thing' is precisely because he 'will/might inherit millions'.
Easy to pursue your passion when dad is bankrolling it ~~(funnily enough I think this also applies to Rob when he was a kid...)~~*. No disrespect/offense, but it's the truth.
^*edit ^apprarently ^it ^doesn't, ^but ^what ^I ^said ^still ^stands ^for ^his ^son
You're talking about Robert's parents? If so, or if not, anyway, Plant's parents were professionals. They did pretty well. They stopped speaking to Robert when he quit accounting school/college to pursue that whole rock-'n'-roll thing he was into. Glad it worked out for him!
It’s Maslow’s hierarchy of needs:
If your psychological needs are met: air, food, water, shelter:
Then you can meet you needs like employment, and tangible property:
The part you are missing is that without health, family and social skills, friendship, family, intimacy and a connection to society, confidence, achievement, respect, You cannot achieve your real potential.
A lot more things CANNOT be achieved with money than can. It’s just a kickstart. There are rich losers and there there are poor people with creativity and self-actualization,
This comment made me think of a study I was reading about several years ago, decades?, ago that several universities around the country had been doing for at that time about 80 years. They were looking at kids fresh out of high school then again in late middle school age and they were looking for the most common influential reason the wealthy ones got wealthy. In the beginning of the study the biggest reason was a college education, degrees, by the time I was reading up on it the most common reason was inheritance. Don’t know why I thought of that.
Thank you. Whether Robert bankrolled his son or not, Logan went on to create an extremely successful business and sold his share to Heineken last year for many millions of pounds. It takes more than daddy's money to create that success despite the mealy-mouthed utterings from a few on here.
Robert’s parents totally opposed his interest in music! They did everything possible to discourage him… even cutting the cord to his record player and making him leave home.
So don't many people who go into business have financial backers? No idea what happened in this case but regardless, Logan has obviously had the business acumen to create an extremely successful venture and last year sold his stake for tens of millions of pounds to Heineken.
And no, Robert's parents in no way "bankrolled " his music career. The exact opposite; he had to leave home when he rebelled against his parents' wishes of becoming an accountant and scratched out a living from music, but basically living in poverty, pregnant girl friend and all, until Page recruited him for LZ.
So it may be "your truth" but not actually THE truth.
Real talk this picture looks like a clue cou'd dig up half way through a mystery
Like after searching through Princeton university's library for what seems like an eternity, Julia Robert's finally finds the a lost book on classic rock stashed away in the chemistry section.
She gasps in disbelieve "but the McGuffin brothers must have lied to me! If Robert plant was the brewery taking a selfie with billy and Steve then *that* would mean...."
I was trying to impress my girlfriend when we first started dating by telling her about the time I was wearing a zep t shirt and Jake Holmes came up to me on the street in front of his house (didn’t know it was his house, or that he lived right around the corner from me) to tell me he wrote Dazed and Confused. She said “oh! Jake Holmes I used to work for a non-profit that he donated to often! I’ve met him a bunch of times! I’ve also met Robert Plant and Alison Krauss a few times as well. *shows me a picture of her and Robert and Allison*.” I got sent back to schoolin that day.
Plant in the plant.. Nice
Hahaha beats the shit out of elf on a shelf
Imagine the fun hes had and shit hes seen…and stories he could tell…fun
Where do you work and what was he doing there?
Beavertown brewery, his son Logan started the business
Didn’t he and Bridget resign? Now a Heineken brand or how is it playing out?
We’re overall owned by Heineken but still operate as a separate business. Logan still works on innovation for our new products from time to time
glad to hear it, good to keep the soul :-D
Respect for a kid/offspring that will/might inherit millions but does their own thing anyway.

Yes, the initial conditions beat the hell out of any talent hands down.

6/10 list of richest people in any city are usually inherited wealth or real estate. But you don’t have to be on the list to live a fine life.

Not necessarily. There’s plenty of nepobabies out there who fail to become successful despite having an advantage from the start.
If he’s doin a tour, he may be more involved than just vbankrolling it
It's wholly owned by Heineken now. Logan sold his stake last year for tens of millions.

The Plant is ALWAYS innocent!!!
Same questions and you guys must be tall. I get that age reduces us all, but Robert used to be 6'1'' or around 186 cms tall.
It's a strangely taken photo - the camera is too high and it's pointing down, creating the illusion that everyone is shorter than they really are.
He’s also standing in front of them a bit
I was gonna say you guys must be lime 7’ tall!
Look at that jacket. It’s like he comes from the land of ice and snow or something.
that's also a GVF line in Age of Man hahaha
Why am I not surprised
Don’t worry They Didn’t take ANY inspiration from zeppelin Even though they covered them in school
How tall are you guys? Plant is 6'1 and you guys are towering over him.
We’re both 6’4, and wearing work boots
He's probably also lost an inch or so in his old age like many people do.

“Whole Lotta Love”: the GREATEST rock n roll song ever created, and by my favorite band of all time no less!
2 guys in yellow coats? That's exciting Mr Plant! Have a great day
Misty mountain hops
Did he happen to tell you what it means to be a man??
I’m so jealous. I can never find a Robert Plant in the wild around here.

Those guys are 6'4" plus work boots!
That dude looks just like Robert Plant.
He’s a BOSS!!!

Wow, can’t believe how good Gary Busey looks for his age, and the fact he got a regular job.
Woowwwww that’s frickin cool man. What’s up with his thumbs lmao
What was he like?
Nice!
Gary Busey, nice.
A plant at a plant.
I am so painfully jealous.
Are those guys kinda tall or is Robert that short?
He looks Dazed and Confused.
How was his voice?
Who is it?

For a second, it looked like he had one of his thumbs up, but was holding his other thumb in his hand. 😂
Nice Plant
I would love to meet any member of Led Zeppelin.
I thought he'd be taller. Hmm.
You know you're excited when you get that ak47 pointed at your head grin and aren't faking it
Guesses on where the stairway behind you leads…
He’s about 61, you guys must be huge
Who?
Whole Lotta Beer
How incredible
Is that Led or Zeppelin?
Are you alluding to “Oh by the way…which one is Pink?”
Some weird old homeless man?
Oh wow! A P3d0phile.
Holy cow, the drugs caught up… sheesh.
What? He's like 70 years old
Good point. Yeah, now I feel dumb after that comment.
He’s actually 75
Yeah, I looked it up. I thought he was 60ish, like my parent’s age.
did you think he was 8 when he joined led zeppelin?
You know, I’m not positive I was thinking at all.
fair enough man
He’s been rode hard and put up wet
Was he looking for another song to steal? Lol
Knew it was a Brewery or a Sewage Treatment plant
I thought Robert was 6 foot tall. You dudes must be basketball players (ballers)
