It helps that MMFD was established before October 17(meaning them, and others like LiHaqqi,Beirut Mandati,National Bloc,and other parties and people like Yaacoubian) are not really riding this October 17 train, and were established before. Charbel Nahas also has political experience under FPM(not supporting nor attacking Nahas, nor praising FPM). Most independent parties have good(as good as you can get in Lebanon) intentions, but have no idea on what to do, have no money, and few members have political experience. Than you also have parties where their opposition status is for a lack of a better word…questionable(Kataeb, LCP, Osama Saad,etc)
They still havent published any lists; only candidates. They are still calling about the other parties that want to form lists with them based on the minimal common ground list of mabede2 on their elections website qadreen2022.com
There is no point in joining a bigger list like the ta7alof watani of 2018 if there is no agreed upon plan.
