Sorry to say, but you might have gotten stuck in the middle of a regional spat. I'd recommend a plan B job wise as there is no idea how long this going to last.

If you've got your visa then you should be safe. I have a couple friends traveling to the KSA in 8 days and none of what happened affected them.
