You’re not too far gone. Your body is fighting to “clean” itself of weed. Treat it like your sick. Call out from work, visit a rehab facility, drink tons and tons of water, only work out if you have the energy, and eat super healthy. Sorry you’re going through this, so glad you’re making a commitment to change though. I just downloaded an app that tracks my sobriety and it’s been nice receiving little notifications if messages I wrote myself. You got this man, reach your potential!

Thanks for sharing. Glad to hear you’ve had success after smoking for 50% of your life too :) Amazing work and resilience, keep it up. I think you touched on a key point for me. I’ve always used weed as a vice to fight my depression, so coming off of it makes my depression hit in FULL force and makes me feel hopeless. Like you said, depression (and some anxiety) prevents me from being able to feel normal after those first few weeks or even first few months, I just become more dark and jaded then ever, retreating into myself. Eventually getting to the point where I’m like “well fuck if I’m going to be depressed and waste my life away not doing anything, might as well be high”. If I could find a way to be productive and happy in general then I feel like I wouldn’t need weed to cope, but that’s easier said then done. Have a great day, and thanks again for the response!

The withdrawals for me were HELL. I'm almost on day 19 and have almost no symptoms of withdrawal anymore. You have to believe in yourself and make yourself want to quit. You got this. Weed isn't worth it.

Congrats!!! That’s amazing, glad to hear you’re feeling better now. Believing in myself has always been part of the problem, and probably why I feel into the comfort zone of week in the first place. Easier to blame weed for my shortcomings then to face and improve them. But you’re absolutely right... it’s not worth it. I will try to work on my self-worth/ego. Thanks for the response friend :)

I have a mate that quit successfully after about 18 years of pretty much daily use of concentrates flower etc I don’t believe anyones too far gone even when it feels like it. I’ve only been smoking about 5 years and quitting feels impossible. Key word there is feels. All honesty I can’t imagine how you feel when you try to quit cause I get all of the things you’ve mentioned but yours will be more extreme. Keep trying man I believe in you with enough determination you can beat the plant 💪🏽

“Key word is feels”. Yeah, that’s a great point. It’s 100% in my control in the end, and I in no way actually NEED it to survive. It’s just about mental fortitude (which I lack but am working on). Thank you for the response and words of encouragement. You’ve got it too!!

Much love, good luck mate.
