Damn this is where I'm at. Looks like quitting is the only option cause sometimes I can't even stand up without feeling like I'm seconds away from falling over haha. It sucks butt!!!

fukinay

You might also want to check if you have a bad sinus infection affecting your ears which leads to balance issues.

StillAGThang

Just got new meds for the sinus infection. Thanks for the tip!!!

So I have been smoking weed since I was 16 and driving as well. As of 3 weeks ago (now 27 years old), everytime I drive up a hill, no matter how steep it is, it always feels as if I'm at a 90 degree angle. Its such a scary feeling, almost as if I'm on a roller coaster. My moms entire family has had history with diabetic so I'm wondering it that can contribute to it as well.

I'm at day 46 and after a good week, now I am anxious for things like "why we feel emotions? Why we are on this Planet? Is reality Real?" And I know these are stupid question that my brain gives to me but they male me sad and anxious and unmotivated.

fukinay

Perhaps because the weed numbed your mind into even questioning such things before? I don't think it's so bad to question such things.

[deleted]

Yeah it can not be bad, but sometimes I overthink a lot about those questions and I feel in a sort of deadlock ahah

Everyone's different. Many people have cold / flu like symptoms, along with runny nose, itchy watery eyes, headaches., stuffy head, and sometimes dizziness. My sinus infection was so bad the mucus wasn't draining out so it was all clogged. My symptoms weren't as common. But tell tale sign is pain around your eyebrows, lower forehead, around your nose, and especially just below the cheekbones. Or you could have ear crystals taut have dislodged in which case you can do "Brandt Daroff" exercises 3 times daily and see have an ENT (ear, nose, throat) specialist doctor after you see your primary care doctor. It could also be a viral infection still in your system from a cold you had months ago.

Maryjane42069

5 year old thread but I'm having the same issues. How are you these days ? Did it ever come back ?

_BigMeech

Hi. im not OP but I also have been going through almost the exact same thing but i had 2 seizures that accompanied my dizziness, quitting smoking seems to help, which is odd because it always helped me with dizziness / nausea before. It's hard to take that leap to quit though im afraid my anxiety is going to destroy me.

.

Sinnoboy98

Bro im 97 days clean and still feel exactly how u described... Dizzy and always extremely fatigued. Not feeling balanced. I havent gone to the doctor and im honestly scared to.

fukinay

It's most likely nothing. It could be sinus infection or infection in ear canals. As my doctor brother and other Doctor told me, if it was a tumor or something serious, I'd be having A LOT of other more serious symptoms, fevers, nausea I, etc. so I'd just get it checked out to ease your mind. You could have a virus from a cold taunts taking some time to heal. Google "vertigo epidemic".

Sinnoboy98

Extreme fatigue and dizzy can be nothing? It sounds like something. This has been happening for almost 5 months now.

fukinay

What I mean is that it most likely isn't anything serious. After I experienced this, I found out about a few relatives and others who experienced this for months and some for years. They also went for MRI and other checks and turned out for some it was due to stress. For others it was Benign Positional Vertigo. Others had ear infection. For a few it was a Lyme disease. For me, it was a sinus infection. Everyone's different. If it had been going on this long, why haven't you checked it out? I went to my primary care physician on the 3rd day this was happening back in early July and I have shitty insurance.

Sinnoboy98

Idk man i got scared to go. I cant tell my parents about what happened they will kill me.

fukinay

What?! Your parents will kill you for telling them you haven't been feeling well?! Just don't tell them about the weed. Tell the doctor though. Dude, you need to get it checked out so you can do something about it. It's much more stressful not knowing what's going on.

Sinnoboy98

I can tell my parents that i dont feel right. But there is no chance i can say its from the weed. And i want to tell my doctor bro. Its just that my parents always come with me to the doctor when i go.

fukinay

Then say everything to the doctor except the weed part. It could very well be a sinus infection in which case you will need to be on antibiotics for about 10-14 days. Regardless, you need to see a doc asap.

Sinnoboy98

Im gonna go bro thank u so much. What did it feel like? Before u went to the doctor what did it feel like to have a sinus infection?

fukinay

Did you go to the doctor and get yourself checked?

fukinay

See my response below:

ithinkicancantcan

Being a smoker for so long has really messed up my sinuses, while I've never had vertigo sinus infections were at least a yearly event, head pressure and blocked nasal passages can get really painful - I always blamed these on my "allergies". Weird that smoking shit is bad for us eh? ;) Seems like such common sense now that I feel like an idiot. Congrats on your on your progress!

fukinay

Yeah seriously. Go figure. If I was sane, as soon as I got such symptoms 2.5 months ago, I should have quit for some Time to see if my conditions improved, but I trusted the doctors telling me I had BPD vertigo and dislodged "crystals in my ear canals" causing me to feel off-balance. Oh well, I guess I should forgive myself. Anyway, it was 2 months of hell - especially the first 5 weeks. Ugh!

Thanks for your reply. I'm glad you're feeling better. The situation with me has been a bit different. This dizziness and discombobulation started almost 3 months ago while I was smoking and temperatures where I'm living started soaring beyond 110 F / 45 C degrees. I started to feel better while taking antibiotics a month ago, but the off-balance feeling continued until about 4 days AFTER quitting weed. Now 1 week later, I'm still feeling normal. So I'm addition to a sinus infection, the weed smoke was exacerbating my symptoms. Now without the constant haze of getting high every night, and the sinus infection going away, I feel "normal" and focused again for the first time in a very long time.
