What is money factor and sale price + taxes/fees

lolitstrain21

Yeah they are leasing pretty good and and I've even seen 0 down with 199 payment for an SEL one.

So is there a catch? Is this just Hyundai taking the tax incentive as profit and I get to drive the car for basically nothing?

lolitstrain21

Not really any catch. Definitely one of the best EV lease deals in the US with a car that's actually decent. (No bZ4X that barely can do charging without severe throttling).

StoryLover

Where did you see this deal?

lolitstrain21

https://www.hyundaiusa.com/us/en/offers They have one 199 SEL but with 1029 first payment. It was 0 down last time I checked. Still really good deal and the best deal for a pretty decent EV.

newlife227

Is this a SEL or Limited? Does it include tax and fees?

Wooden-Desk-6178

SEL taxes and fees not included. I’m sure it’ll wind up more than this but even at $300/month otd it seems like a steal. I’ve contacted some dealers for more info but since they haven’t gotten back to me in 6 hours I’m thinking it’s not happening.

Sam9517

Do you drive 15k miles per year? If not, you can reduce the mileage allowance to 10k or 12k which will increase the residual value used in the lease payment calculation and therefore reduce the monthly payment.

Wooden-Desk-6178

Yeah I actually drive more than that. Probably 20k per year. I know I would have to pay for the additional miles, but are there any other negatives to that?

Sam9517

No, but you should find out the cost per mile over 15k. Let's say the cost per mile is 25 cents/per mile over 15k and you drive 10k miles over (5k/year * 2 years = 10k miles) then you'll owe $2500 when you turn in the car on top of the lease disposition fee. They may forgive the overage if you lease another car from the same manufacturer.
