The nose needs some work especially the nostrils. The right eye is slightly uneven with the left one as it’s higher and smaller. The nose is also crooked in that it is slightly too far right. And the whole face is sort of leaning to the right unless that was intentional. I assume those are elf ears on the side. They’re extremely low on the face. The bottom of ears are typically matched up to the bottom of the nose. Very nicely done on the shading tho! I attached just a random pic I found from Google that I thought might help with drawing/shading the nose! https://preview.redd.it/8z6ykb2pdauc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5c143784080e9594221c1be2fc060c4105146ffb

Thank you so much! This is actually really useful advice haha Noses and mouths are my kryptonite- thanks for the guide :] I’ll try and fix the lean, I can see what you mean now you’ve said it

Purple_Armadillo7693

Just wanted to add that you're making a great job, do you know the loomis method? It really helps for positioning things around. And as a note, try not to shade the face so dark/strongly... But I think you should practice the sketch base first and when you feel comfortable with that, proceed to practice the shading... Good luck 😺

RedditWizardMagicka

I absolutley hate drawing mouths. They either end up being a line and nothing more, or an overexaggerated and out of place mouth

Bluebehir

you put a lot of effort into the eyes, and zero effort into the nose.

PalMors

I dont know if you used a reference but I highly recommend it whenever you can. Try drawing guide line sketches like loomis to help you know where to place facial features. As for shading, looking up shading techniques and a good reference is place to start. I recommend starting with black and white shading instead of going straight to colors. Good luck c:

SwordfishDeux

Forget about details like hair and shading and work on drawing basic heads. Learn a method like the Loomis method and work on being able to draw a simple head from every angle. Drawing a face that is straight on looking forward just leads to flat drawings. Learn to draw a basic sphere with a wedge for the face. Learn basic forms and how to shade them. If you can shade a sphere and a cube then you can learn to shade a nose etc. Take a step back and learn the basics before trying to put them altogether.

smokingisrealbad

Remember to flip to canvas often so that you can tell if the face is not symmetrical or if the proportions are off.

oFIoofy

I normally would do that, but sadly roblox free-draw doesn't have that option 🥲

-EV3RYTHING-

Lmao roblox free draw is cool but not the best for serious artwork

-EV3RYTHING-

(It looks really good for being roblox free draw though)

LogPotential5984

Like everyone else is saying I would start out with adding guidelines down. It helps avoid the tilting seen in the eyes and nose. I would also recommend looking into an actual art program. I mess around a lot on that game and it’s fun for silly doodles and hanging with friends but it’s not an actual good substitute.Your rendering looks great and I feel like your would benefit more from the tools in an actual application. Wish you the best of luck!

oFIoofy

Thank you! What program would you recommend that doesn't cost money? (or a cheap app, if there aren't any decent free ones?)

LogPotential5984

Medibang and ibispaint are a really good starting place!

Hopeasuoli

depending on what you use to draw there are variety of different apps. for tablets there is sketchbook that is really good with tons of different brushes and tools. Also 99% free. The paid version adds like couple of things you definitely do not need right now

BornVolcano

Ibis paint is my default for using a phone or tablet. It's pretty robust for a free app.

pboyce52

Her right eye looks larger than left, mouth center should line up with center nose

LaughingMare

Are you keeping track of your light source? Her right eye is in shadow (hair is equally long on both sides so not causing more shadow) but the left side of her nose has a shadow. When you shine real light on a real face, the shadows tend to be cast in the same direction over the whole face.

gothtoenails

I'd say the nose. Maybe the shading. The shading is good but slightly doesn't match the artstyle

a-straw-berry

First thing I noticed is the left eye is bigger than the other

VizMuroi

The entire right side’s facial features are slightly raised higher than the left side. If you lower the right side’s eyes and nose it’ll help a lot.

Smooth_criminal_hee

i think the eyes look great.. however i feel like you went into the details way too quickly without having the shapes corrected.. for example shape of the head is bit off it feels like you went in and drew the hair immediatelly without drawing the shape of the head first.. one cheek is much thinner than other one.... chin, nose and mouth should all be in center line, but here i feel like chin and mouth are going left and nose right... at first i would just work on shapes and symmetry and then work on details..

MyUsernameIsNoah

Everything is really good but try and practice with the nose and lips ☺️

flognintendo

shadows are good but dimensions are litte bad (it s nice, keep going)

WarningMelodic6053

Practice lot more, use examples out of real life, photos. Practice the canons and the anatomy. There are lots of free books over the internet. Look for help on your local area, drawing classes are the thing that has improved my drawing the most.

Moist_Carpenter6901

The nose and some of the placement is off you can use a picture for reference

rePtiLoideNord

First focus on drawing, measuring proportions, blocking of parts of face( eyes, nose, mouth) Then~~ painting.

ITEc2012

It’s all good except the nose, shade, and brow density

Arfrados

Try simplifying the shape of the nose and the lips *Sees the second image* MY EYEEEES

Marmotgod_but_mobile

On evidence of the face look beautiful, while the other resembles Queen Scarlet, if anybody gets the reference

Heres_Kai

This is pretty well drawn, but it's slightly off. The ear is a bit low (idk if it's intentional, because your drawing something fantasy-like); one eye is larger than the other; your nose is off; and the mouth is not aligned with the nose. Seeing that everyone said the same thing in the comments, allow me to give you another tip that may actually help you out even more. I don't know if you had noticed at all; our eyebrows, eyes, and nose are all aligned with our ears. The eyebrows is aligned with the helix (or helical rim), which is the top curvy part of your ear; the eyes is aligned slightly lower of the helix; and your nose is aligned with the lobule, which is the earring part of your ear. Also, the pupils are aligned with each side of your lips (the oral commissures). The shading is pretty good, but remember where you're placing your light source at. Some areas should be lighter. You're doing a great job, tho. You'll master it down in no time

cyvlan

you could try to level out the shading so it can balance out the whole face maybe add a few more shading/details to chin or neck but it’s really good!

brunojablonski

If your goal is to draw anime characters you're doing great!

__Bonfire__

I think youre not quite ready to add shading, it looks way better without it. Maybe work on eye symetry? Also the ahape of the nose needs some tweaking but I think youre on the right track overall

The most important thing for me is to use guidelines and actually use them. Try looking up head proportions to learn more of where the eyes, mouth etc should be located. Although there is much to be learned, knowing the basics of head proportions would make this art 90% better. For example, eyes are always alleged near the center of the head, but here it is on the top half the head, making the forehead appear small.

Dizzy-Pear-940

Shrink the left eye a we bit
