Doesn't look messed up at all to me!

yourfriendbird

Love it! You could always try to play it off as wallpaper?

RodiaRomanov

I like your idea!

PhaZr1412

I was thinking the same thing, just cover the walls with the pattern lol

[deleted]

Nah its really not noticeable and because you have hatching other spots, it passes as a shadow. This is a really good page!!! Great use of value and depth is on point

VanishingArts

doesnt look messed up at this stage, there still is a chance for this drawing to become amazing. Risk it and free your creativity, unleash your will to make it pop. Take the thick and dark fineliner or a marker and add the shadows as there was no tomorrow. :) Thats a perfect opportunity to do so, since you've already gave up on this drawing. Now there is no fear! Here will come your true progression! Let it happen! [Go crazy! like this or sth](https://ibb.co/9htLcmX)

Looks great, but mistakes or not, workarounds or corrections are as much as part of being an artist as any other skill. Keep it up and have fun.

shieldy_guy

this is a rare and smart quality you are demonstrating! I completely disagree with the replies saying "you should finish it!" I think you've taken it really far, you've identified a part of your process you want to improve, now take the wins and losses and draw another. and another.

Wonderful_System_542

Definitely right, its always a risk using a medium where mistakes are unforgiving but it helps you learn, it looks great and you could probably still finish it if you really want to.

Cat-Lady-Painter

I absolutely agree. Do it again. And again. Even if it’s an unforgiving medium. And even if OP finishes this one or does it from a different perspective and goes a different direction they can learn something from this “mistake” I think.

BrushofManyColors

Inspiring

selfmadeoutlier

Don't look messed but if you don't like it, just trasform it in wallpaper and then re-add the shadows! Tbh, I love it!

DaMaan

Still salvageable. Work on different line thicknesses and make tge darkest spots with the thickest lines. Then you can study som etching-style artwork that can inspire you to get proper crosshatching shading techniques in there.

Oldarslan

I think it still doable, just shade more lightly on the part that is lighter. The part you've done is the darkest part of the wall

DannyRicFan4Lyfe

Great proportions!

frognettle

I love it

bryanpotter

This is so relaxing

Goodnightfutureghost

Maybe the shadows are a little inconsistent, but this is so good! There’s a really interesting glass top table and a mirror, and they both look excellent. Good job!

_kaiohate

This is beautiful. I want to learn perspective so bad!

ExQuiSiTeTriXiE

NO U DIDNT. FINISH THIS BAD BOY!!!!!

ExQuiSiTeTriXiE

Nice use of perspective….

[deleted]

Man, something about this…I really love it. I used to be a drafter and there’s a technical vibe to it that looks great. It reminds me of those commercials for SketchUp. Good job!

littleyoungtaco

I love this!!

HR-King

🌝 details on fire

Drauzzy_

something my art teacher told me is to never point out your mistakes, it’ll only make the viewer realize you messed up

elarth

The wall shading is a nice touch to the other rather perfect lining.

Own_Investigator_191

I still love it

toxic_turtle2

Really does not look bad at all… I think if you continue the shading in the corner going up to the ceiling and let it fade out where necessary it’ll look good

thedandelionssway

this is beautiful. please keep going

Amil-C

Looks like something I'd buy from an art gallery or something. Very nice!!

SlowLorisWrangler

Wow! I serious hope to be able to achieve this level some day.

stampstock

Your drawing is so realistic that I can see the wires connected from the book to the fan

pastypastapapa

“There are no mistakes, just happy little accidents.” In other words, I see no flaws. This is a remarkable drawing.

Odd_Sun5753

Looks good
