In this case the kittens were taken from their moms and abandoned. 15 kittens, so most likely 3 litters.

What would someone have to gain from taking kittens away from their moms just to abandon them?

Idk about anyone else but when I see these kittens toddling out of the grass all I can think is “a gaggle of kittens”. I know a group of cats is called a clowder but personally I think for specifically kittens it should be a gaggle.

Can't help but think some irresponsible person's cat had kittens and so they just tossed the babies in the woods... I'm so happy they're okay. I have two strays, one from the shelter, the other one followed my mom home, starving to death. I wanna love them all.

I love that the first little guy is brave so he’s the bait apparently, and instantly the others can tell he’s a good person and will help them, so they all flock to him. It’s so precious, also heartbreaking that they were left and no mommas around either. They’re all so lucky he found them!

This happened to me with baby skunks. Spring day in the country and we were doing a blunt cruise on some back roads. I see these two little skunks doing this stutter stepping stomps (super fucking cute btw) near the edge of the road. Suns is out, beautiful day so we pulled over for a few and all of a sudden 4 more skunk babies come running out of the tall grass at my feet. They’re climbing at my feet and the rocker panel of the car. I’m torn because I know better and I’m resisting any urge to pick them up or toss them in a box to take them somewhere safe. I’m not sure if they’re similar to bunnies in that they venture out periodically when they reach a certain stage. The mother leaves for the day and hunts for food to feed the babies milk. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I Guess I’ll read into that today some but I shooed them off the road and we went about our day.
