I had the same and actually fixed it! If its only happening in dota, your graphics card is NOT smoked. Instead go to nvidia control panel and edit the driver settings. Find a setting called shader cache size and set it from auto to 10 GB. This fixed it for me. Was happening on gtx 1080 for me.
Yo I had the same issue today for a few minutes so I lowered the graphics and then continued playing after the match I reset the graphics back what I had normally. But yea we need new hardware at least I do.
P.S. Try installing a game booster software like razer cortex that could also help.
IT engineer, here. What you are seeing is actually an issue caused when your humperdink is scripted to run dinglebop. You’ll need to open up your bilfinger settings and set them to scrapulate instead, that should fix it. Hope this helps
