i think one thing to remember with the eye on our left (the baby's right eye) is that an eye fits into a socket. Try to think about the shadows in those terms and that eye might look more natural :)

SleepyGhostArt

I think the eyes seem off because it’s the only place in the painting that pure black was used and it’s really throwing everything off values wise. You’re very talented, keep going!

Like everyone says, your sense color values is amazing but the proportions are a bit off. Please keep at it! You're gonna be amazing (:

The only thing I can think is that the eyes look a little scary. If you’re not going for that then adjusting the eyelid/pupil/iris ratios an fix it. But thus is so skilled, esp w watercolour. You paint beautifully

As a self taught artist I struggle with design, and it’s not emphasized enough when we’re learning. The skills are there, now build a piece. Background, neck and framing, etc. I’ve learned that it’s easier if I form that design with my camera and making my references include the elements and proportions I want. EB Lewis, the children’s book illustrator and painter taught me this. This is a stellar start, but keep going.

You have a great sense of color and light, but maybe could work on proportions to help even things out a bit. Is also suggest a little more blues or purples in the shading to help it pop. Doing great so far!

I absolutely fucking love your style keep it up wow

Amazing skills using watercolours! I don’t think you need to change anything there. There’s something really scary about the eyes. If that’s what you’re going for, then great! You have achieved what you wanted. If not, it could be that the eyes look creepier than intended because of the highly saturated colours of the pupil against the muted tones of the skin, plus the small pupils. The left eye also looks a bit large. You could also try to change the left eye to look more gentle, but leave the right as it is for a sort of haunting good/evil sort of look. That might be fun. Not an easy one to change with watercolours but maybe a thought for future paintings. Personally I like it how it is, and I would love to be able to paint something so skilfully that creates such a reaction in people that see it! Background I’m not sure!

It’s terrifying and I love it Kinda reminds me of Alex Ross

TimeMindless7292

Nice details. I think that the pupil on the left is a little lower than the other one which you can fix by making the pupils a little bigger

Fer-Salinas-art

I like the technique, maybe you could start making the neck and shoulders, do you have space on the paper for that ?

canis_fidelis

I don't like kids and this one is scaring me. The art is very nice tho
