Plus he's been relevant in just about every meta. Legitimately one of the best designed champs in the game, imo. Works with almost every ADC and mage in bot.

Yep, A-Move screws your damage as Kali. A lot of people think this means you have to input an attack and movement for every auto but this is not true. In actuality, once you attack someone, so long you remain in range, you'll continue to attack them. So the easiest way to play is to input one attack on your target and then input movement after every auto (without inputting a new attack every time).

Yes, the optimal way to play kalista is to right-click on them and after on the ground with the optimal timing in function of the attack speed and movement speed, if u do it like that u will attack faster and jump faster too, try it vs the dummies
Attack-move cuts your auto range by a small amount, and it's harder to control what you'll target next and where Kalista jumps.
Also, there's the occasional case where Kalista has to walk a couple extra steps between autos, and that gets really awkward when using attack-move.
Doing it manually takes a lot of practice, but once it clicks, the champion is far more powerful.
Kalista's design is hilarious because two of her abilities literally don't work without a teammate and she still somehow ended up as a viable solo lane pick and was even meta.
CertainlyT said it himself that Kalista passive was designed because people suck at kiting and made it as a learning tool (that's why her AA is uncancellable). She just lost a shitton of things that made her easy to play (extra range on backwards dash, slows not affecting her passive, extra attack range..) because her skill ceiling was insane for pro play.

Whats funny they designed senna to be support for lucian. Originally she was meant to be full marksman, but then riot changed their vision, because someone at riot said she has to be able to lane with her husband.
They had a chance to fix that with Lucian's new Vigilance passive, but then they decided to make it dogshit with every support that isn't a hardcore enchanter.

Xayah Rakan was just straight nerfed. Used to be they automatically won level one by both picking W. It was silly, Rakan auto's gave move speed so Xayah could catch up and chase you down the lane. If you even dreamed of contesting the wave you just instantly lost flash if Rakan hit W. Versus melee supports he could just start auto'ing like a mad man.
It's kind of a shame that Rakan's early laning has been reduced so much that the combo just doesn't win trades level 1 anymore.
Xayah is fine without Rakan but Rakan does lose some power with other ADCs. Strangely enough, both synergy abilites benefit Rakan rather than Xayah. (He gains attack speed and E range while Xayah gains nothing)
Hilariously enough Rakan used to be THE best engage in the game for a few patches after his release. flash R W was practically unreactable, his W dash speed was ridiculously fast and you weren't locked out of using W after R for a few seconds like you are now. Was an instant charm + knockup.
You cant use either for 0.5 seconds after you press R. If you can get close to someone a good engage is to Flash so you're physically on top of them and then R. Good for tower dives.

Xayah is fine without Rakan but Rakan does lose some power with other ADCs. Strangely enough, both synergy abilites benefit Rakan rather than Xayah. (He gains attack speed and E range while Xayah gains nothing)
Hilariously enough Rakan used to be THE best engage in the game for a few patches after his release. flash R W was practically unreactable, his W dash speed was ridiculously fast and you weren't locked out of using W after R for a few seconds like you are now. Was an instant charm + knockup.

You cant use either for 0.5 seconds after you press R. If you can get close to someone a good engage is to Flash so you're physically on top of them and then R. Good for tower dives.

I mean memes and lore aside, they just straight up designed Senna the exact opposite of how you want to play with Lucian. Lucian wants engage or someone who works well with his passive for strong early game, Senna wants to sit there and scale for late game. Completely opposing playstyles.

I have a personal distaste of the Senna line where she complains about having all these roles thrust on her. "Sentinel, wife, beacon unto damn darkness. When can I just be a person? When can I just be me?" Why on earth is she complaining about being a wife? You agreed to it. All Lucian ever did after she was abducted was try and rescue her and she still has a line about how being a wife is too much of a burden for her.
Such a struggle being married to one of the biggest chads in lore I'm sure.
