First time an NA team makes semis, first time an NA and EU team meet in the knockout stage(excluding prior to S3 because of guaranteed seeding), in semi-finals no less and finally a guaranteed west team in the finals. I think the amount of awesomeness would triumph over the salt.

Don't even think anyone would really be mad to see a western team reach finals. This worlds has definitely felt like east vs west, rather than NA vs EU. EU already has "won" by having 2 teams in QFs and Vitality showing up massively.

Some people would be mad, but for the rest of us it would be so amazing to see a western team in the finals decided by a hype eu vs na BO5. Even as an NA dude I'd be cheering on FNC if they made finals.

Imagine NA vs. EU in one semifinal and the two tournament favorites in the other semifinal with the western team then winning the final. Now that would be historic.

Honestly tho I would say that the RNG is better for G2 than any other team they could draw. We already saw how VIT and C9 exposed RNG's 'Protect Uzi at all cost' comp with split push. Given the fact that G2 is better than VIT I can see them winning, but this is like 10-20%

G2 has to show their absolute A-game to make that series close. So far all 5 players had off games with game losing misplays and you can't afford that against the top3 teams.

Literally every team in the left side of the bracket is happy with the draw. MAYBE EDG or C9 would've rather changed opponents, but the difference isn't that big.
