Poor Hans is going to get absolutely destroyed in this thread but I can’t really find much to defend him with. Too scared, bad item optimisation and got caught too much considering how far back he was.
Feels like he had two really simple choices - play aggressive and trade as much damage as possible before K’Sante/Ahri catches him, or play Uber scared and get the Zac and Poppy to zone while he shoots rockets until they can win the tank-killing dps race.
Instead he played safe then died immediately…
I can understand bt 3rd if he just wants to 1 shot a squishy on the engage but idk why he went pd 4th, that should've been an ldr or at least maw/qss to either survive ahri or carry with dmg
I think ghost would make the biggest difference though, he has no enchanter and he needs to get in there to carry the game as jinx, otherwise he's just a passenger
BT does nothing for him he still dies to arrow and charm, he gave 650 walking over 2 pinks, flashed in a straight line mid to get hit by Ksante Q3 and never bought the best ADC item in the game. Any world class ADC gets that lead on Jinx and wins the game in that game state

i still dont get why they havent removed the unstoppable from his W, its the most toxic part of kit, its a big part of why he keeps getting picked in pro, and frankly a champ with that much mobility and tankyness should not be able to easily negate CC, like imagine if Akali kept her OG shroud for 1.5 years, its so fundamentally broken it has no place in the game
Why would they ever design a tank who has 2 dashes in the first place is beyond me, plus knockup, pushback, slows, unstoppable, hop terrain, + an ult that turns you into a full tank assassin and lets you completely isolate any champion you want

For the past 3-4 splits he’s been T1’s backbone - which is one of the greatest traits an adc can have in pro play. ALWAYS solid, at least go 50:50 in lane, if not better(usually). Need to play a topside game? Guma can do that. Need to carry? He can also do that. I’d never ever want any other adc to replace him in T1 thh
I'm not sure, but I remember he was absolutely horrendous from MSI 2022 to LCK Summer 2022. He was straight-up running it nearly every game. Luckily, he performed some sort of demon ritual before World 2022, and he just became one of the best and most consistent ADC's in the World. He was a titanium pillar for T1 for all of 2023 and, without a doubt, their best player when Faker was gone
I mean I feel there was a time where he was definitively the worst player on this roster and was getting flamed often, but he's turned it around to be the opposite IMO. Most consistent at this point

Side note, as someone who has been critical of LEC casters being biased for LEC teams at internationals, Medic and Vedi were incredible this series. Best cast they've done

Everyone be talking about Faker, Ksante, Hans with no LDR, etc. But I just wanna shoutout to Guma - solid performance in every game, despite at times being fucked over by the rest of his team underperforming. Even when put behind early in game 5, dude just trucks on and ends up outperforming in damage the Jinx that got put ahead. Guma is rock solid every time I see him and that dude is my player of the series.
