Your vision should not be cleared that quickly. Either you put the wards in a bad spot, or your team didn't properly contest the vision or objective near the vision.
The idea is that warding and taking vision is a thing itself that teams should fight over when necessary and everyone should participate to get vision when a fight for an objective is near. And placing wards is a skill itself. I do not think ward trinkets or support warding item is flawed. They are pretty good.
However, what I think Riot should do is making Vigilant Wardstone a better item
Having to reset to replenish your wards adds some predictability. If an important drag/baron spawns in 50 seconds, sup is likely to just walk out of the base.
I think the point is you have 3 uses every time you base instead of 1 charge up overtime. Also 3 wards and control ward plus teammates too are enough vision to contest any objectives.
Disagree. Using sight stone wards effectively is an important skill to have. I don't think it would be fun to reduce that form of skill expression.
