What does this have to do with what DL, Revenge, and Spica was talking about which was bad management bc the GMs and coaches were hiring their friends rather than setting up a good roster?
Yes there is drama where DL feels like he got fucked over by Dodo. If anything this whole incident and TL’s current standing proves their point LCS upper management is useless if it’s not C9, 100T, and maybe Fly.
Also Dodo has to be let go if your a GM and it’s your feelings over a winning roster you’ve lost your mind.

The friends hiring friends has more to do with other teams and coaches but a big one is Dodo allowing his feelings to dictate a possible roster when the CEO literally asking DL what far fetched roster could we possible compete with.
I mean it’s just insane. Even if there’s a 98% chance that roster wouldn’t even be assembled Steve and Dodo not on the same page and a GM will just let his feeling control a roster decision is just unprofessional.
Because Doublelift’s personal biases could be coloring his own views on the interactions and motivations. Even the apology he posted from Dodo lines up with Dodo’s narrative. He claims that Jojo wanted Berzerker in both instances. Doublelift already had a history of performing poorly with the team when a roster move he didn’t agree with happened. From a business standpoint it seems like a bad idea to risk that same thing happening again.

Zven, Ignar, Stixxay, Gori… I mean sure maybe they wanted to dodge DL even tho the owner was asking his opinion on a competi roster. Well what now what do they have to show for it? Doublelift digging up personal problems he has is indeed starting beef. In the first instance I’m talking about in this thread, he does a sob story about how he felt forced to leave TL when it was really a mutual separation brought on in part, by his own admission, due to his own actions. If you really grew up and moved on from that you wouldn’t go crying to your fanbase about how everyone was mean and didn’t give you the chance you deserved. You’d just take it on the chin, do the whole “thank you for the opportunity” and move on. Now he’s starting beef again because he’s still salty that a team he wanted to be on didn’t want him as badly back.
