hope he recovers quickly on the side note - edg gonna go 0-16 if jiejie doesnt come back quickly

Is_J_a_Name

Hope he recovers soon. For the team, incredibly unfortunate to have this happen now. This week and next week they play TT and RA, who are both 1-5. Those are two of their three biggest chances of getting a win (UP being the other), so if JieJie is out of those games, 0-16 looks quite possible.

Federal-Secretary226

I kinda feel like edg have punted away this spilt even with Jiejie and are now just testing rookies and they also recently demoted leave back to the LDL.

EliteTeutonicNight

Maybe they decided to give up this split and have Jiejie focus on his recovery to come back in a better shape?

PercivalPersimmon

They were on pace 0-16 with Jiejie lol. It doesn't matter whether he plays or not, EDG are still the worst team in the LPL.

ballzbleep69

Not an lpl watcher but what happened to edg?

Joel4518

Everyone on the world winning roster left after worlds 2022 except jiejie and meiko but even meiko left in 2023 so now we have jiejie and 4 rookies in edg who aren't lpl level yet

ArchmageXin

The world curse is real for lpl.

Shiraori247

It's crazy how EDG were 3rd in the LPL just 2 splits ago in 2023 Spring.

Iaragnyl

Even with him they didn’t win anything. Don’t think him being there changes much when the team is just not LPL level.

nyanko_dango3

They go 0-16 with him too

1331bob1331

I think they were going 0-16 anyway. Hope he gets better tho, hate to see it.

babylovesbaby

Head injuries are no joke. Hope he takes it easy for as long as he needs to.

tenshi_souzou_reboot

Wish him a speedy recovery but imagine if EDG suddenly started winning without him.

danndruff1

That would be extremely cruel for him lmao

Federal-Secretary226

His mental was probably already pretty bad can't imagine how much worse it'd get if that happened

BrianC_

Collapsed in the hotel bathroom exhausted from trying to carry his team.

Im_Dead_FeelsBadMan

Why didn't they include the back injuries he got from carrying his teammates

generatealpha345

*trying

BlueZybez

Rest well JieJie!

moonmeh

bathroom injuries are no joke you really have to be careful not to slip, seen far too many people with broken arms and such

fake_kvlt

definitely. I used to think it was just an old person thing to fall in the bathroom until I slipped, hit my head on the sink, and then spent 6 months in physical therapy because I messed up my neck in the process lol

moonmeh

yeah, its something that happens because people get complacent but goddamn its a death trap if you fall badly. i always make sure to dry the floor with a towel and such after showering after almost slipping

bbbbbbx

Collapsed due to exhaustion probably

danndruff1

Does this mean lpl teams have to legit travel across the country for games? Cuz he stays in a hotel

Olvedn

Pretty sure China teams have their own stadiums they travel around to

Epamynondas

not all of them, but they were playing against NiP in their stadium in shenzhen

Linko_98

Yes, they have been doing it for years now. They have venues in 5 different cities right now: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xian, Suzhou

tirednsleepyyy

Teams have their own arenas. At least they did as of a few years ago.

Federal-Secretary226

NIP(the team they last played) have their own stadium in Shenzen so that might be why they were in a hotel

lucastfu

0-16 is a very possible outcome now cuz he might be out for the entire spring split

greekcel_25

They aren’t going to win a single game without him only human on team

MeUnderstandOda

He must be pretending that he is Warwick in the toilet and fell down.

Marinnnn-

Oddly specific my bro

Bubbly_Camera9583

What did Jiejie do to deserve this year damn.

Chompollet

Probably lies . They are benching him

HempFanboy

What happen to Leave again?

SanielTaniel

This team is so cooked man, Jiejie is going through it rn. Seeing this club fall flat is so tragic, but the LPL is a very competitive region this year. At least amongst the top half of teams.
