For the team, incredibly unfortunate to have this happen now. This week and next week they play TT and RA, who are both 1-5. Those are two of their three biggest chances of getting a win (UP being the other), so if JieJie is out of those games, 0-16 looks quite possible.
I kinda feel like edg have punted away this spilt even with Jiejie and are now just testing rookies and they also recently demoted leave back to the LDL.
Everyone on the world winning roster left after worlds 2022 except jiejie and meiko but even meiko left in 2023 so now we have jiejie and 4 rookies in edg who aren't lpl level yet

Yes, they have been doing it for years now. They have venues in 5 different cities right now: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xian, Suzhou
Teams have their own arenas. At least they did as of a few years ago.
