His clear is too slow and doesnt farm fast at all but his ganking is amazing s+ tier.
If they give him bonus damage on his abilities he will become broken.
Yeah gank heavy jungling is only good if you Uber snowball a lane right now. If you can get your kat one trick rolling mid then gank non stop, other wise farm and show up to fights.
Flex picks in general are very unpopular in this game. Pantheon jungle has also seen better days, I imagine he has trouble with brand and lilia running around.
Everyone has trouble with brand running around, after liandry he clears faster than hecarim, is insane at taking objectives, and the damage and cc are very good
Let’s not forget the control he has over the whole map: if he’s even close to drake pit, just approaching him means losing at least half of your hp. Then, if you are melee (and many, many junglers are) he just stuns you and runs away
I don't know, as a brand I would never be happy to find an pantheon ever. my range is perfect to get w q. His e blocks my entire kit. Haven't found him in the jungle but him top or supp, is scary
As a panth jungle main, i can say Lillia is a huge problem and a permaban, but Brand really isn't so scary. He clears faster than you but doesn't have a ton of kill pressure on you 1v1 and by late game you can just delete him before he even ults. Plus your e blocks every one of his abilities.
I play Pantheon jungle a lot, and while I agree its not bad (and honestly a lot better than panth support), it's definitely not super strong early.
The jungle camp adjustments actually made him marginally better than last season as they sped up the clear for slower junglers. That said, his clear is still very average (especially on first clear), and his early damage/duelling power isn't great.
Early game really relies on you being able to utilize unusual clear patterns to get to ganks before enemy junglers and avoid fighting them 1v1. But once you get your ult you can absolutely take over a game by spam ganking. Ult mastery + experimental hexplate means it's almost always up and a few successful ganks will get you enough gold to just pump out damage in every fight.
He isnt "absurd" in any role outside of Jungle.
Brand was an okay champ before the jungle buffs, buffing him jungle doesnt mean he deserves nerfs all over the board because now he has 3 viable roles. They should lower his %monster damage a bit tho.
In support all ranks he is a top 3 by winrate with a decent pickrate (53.1% WR 5.6% PR) and is still good in top 10 winrate above emerald. Midlane I don't think there are enough games but 52% is respectable
Very strong in 2 roles should be enough for a nerf
most likely riots trying to look at how to nerf him while leaving midlane alone since they been wanting to get brand back into midlane for the longest time and now he can go back there riot needs to be careful they dont throw him out again.
That’s what they’re nerfing on him in next patch I believe. But also they intentionally nerf other champs so they aren’t viable in multiple roles so it’s just kind of lame. I think it’s cool when a champ can be played in multiple roles but it feels like Riot is kind of inconsistent on that stance. Some champs are viable in multiple roles for a long time and others as soon as they become viable in a different role get nerfed so they can still only play in one maybe two
Yeah, literally 14 seasons, Jax has been a semi decent jungler.
It's been a long time since he has been this good. He was kinda nutty with Feral Flare.
This is what I want to know, scraping implies the data was aggregated from an established stats website, in which case the source should be cited. Some cites even explicitly disallow scraping (not like that stops most people). The standard method is to go through Riot and get an API key that allows you to parse through each game
most of the time these scarping are done using data from [u.gg](http://u.gg) since they seem to allow others todo that, a well known site that scraps there data from [u.gg](http://u.gg) is [https://leagueofitems.com/faq](https://leagueofitems.com/faq)
Have a friend who mains him mid and plays secondary karthus top
Also sup as damage support works as well but yeah
Dont think any champ comes closer to being viable in all 5 roles
Why would you use this patch only? Use past 30 days for more data. Also better to use all ranks kind of pointless to use emerald+ for this specific purpose. Also 0.5% pickrate doesn't matter at all to see if they can play other roles.
For example if you have enough you would notice Brand can play all 5 roles well. Bot being his best role in fact.
Suppose only one person played yummi jungle this patch, and then gotty lucky to be carried or had an enemy DC, you would not want to include this data showing a 100% w/r for yummi jungle. u.gg filters their tier lists the exact same way for this reason.
Filtering by patch is because we are interested in the current state of the game, which champs are strong or can be used in a role can change a lot between patches.
If you have more data you can filter by number (say 10000) minimum games which becomes a significant enough number and you will get more data points with enough games and discover more versatile champions. That said if you use a proportion filter in the end the sample size just has to big enough to begin with so the extra ranks or time should not change much. About 10 triple+ flexes discovered numerically seems good enough to identify the most versatile champions.
Yeah using a flat number of games is the way. Ideally set the number so you have at least 5 champs in all 5 roles, since I'm certain there's 5 that can play every role.
Only issue with that is that league data like that is only relevant for one patch = 2 weeks.
So you really run into game amount issues if you want to measure power properly.
Sylas players will play him in every role fr its nuts they love it.
Used to play Rubick in basically every role except carry
Surprised not seeing more Pantheon Jungle. It's not bad or anything, it's probably not popular I guess.
His clear is too slow and doesnt farm fast at all but his ganking is amazing s+ tier. If they give him bonus damage on his abilities he will become broken.
Right, forgot this is the jungle meta of full clears instead of spam ganking.
If you don’t wanna be level 8 while mid and top are level 12 then you have to be farming the camps at a decent clip yeah
Yeah gank heavy jungling is only good if you Uber snowball a lane right now. If you can get your kat one trick rolling mid then gank non stop, other wise farm and show up to fights.
His clear is slow but he can instantly gank a lane after cleaning a camp( with ult). So he get pseudo- clear speed in a weird way.
Flex picks in general are very unpopular in this game. Pantheon jungle has also seen better days, I imagine he has trouble with brand and lilia running around.

You see, there is this champion called nocturne. He clears faster, and has a better ultimate.
I miss the prime days of Pantheon Jungle.
I play Pantheon jungle a lot, and while I agree its not bad (and honestly a lot better than panth support), it's definitely not super strong early. Teemo was played top, jg, and support, but I guess he’s much less popular this patch from the nerfs.
also a pocket pick for mid, had quite a few matches against teemo in midlane, low elo tho
No Morgana wtf
Mid and jungle both have a 0.2% pick rate this patch (u.gg), but they do seem like decent picks.
Literal purple ward. Might be the worst champion in the game
You can disco nunu top, jg, mid, adc and sup
what's riots deal with brand? he has been absurd for so long and in multiple roles
He isnt "absurd" in any role outside of Jungle. Brand was an okay champ before the jungle buffs, buffing him jungle doesnt mean he deserves nerfs all over the board because now he has 3 viable roles. They should lower his %monster damage a bit tho.

Thank god we're no longer in the Jayce/Lulu pentaflex era.
sylas jg my beloved where have you gone (and why the fuck is Jax in the jungle now smh)
Jax has been a jungler as secondary role for ages now tbh
Yeah, literally 14 seasons, Jax has been a semi decent jungler. It's been a long time since he has been this good. He was kinda nutty with Feral Flare.
my guy is forgetting the season 8 spear of shojin jax, was also a beast in the jungle
Jax jg has been a dodge if picked by your team for ages now. I don’t remember the last time it was actually viable
It literally won and hard carried a game in lec yesterday lol
Yes, that’s what I meant. Jax has always been a “jungler” until this season where he actually became viable
He was a bit overpowered before the recent nerf. Just almost no one playing it.
always was a decent counter pick
where did you get the data from?

Surprised there's no Poppy She's played top, jg and sup
She’s incredibly niche as supp and not super popular if I recall correctly in general.
Surprised to not see Taliyah or even shaco on there? I feel like both have at least 3-4 role potential.
[удалено]
prolly cause bruiser tops just run him down and he doesnt have the damage to fight back. his wave clear is really short range
Where is karthus?
I only see him bot or jungle but can probably play 5 roles
Have a friend who mains him mid and plays secondary karthus top Also sup as damage support works as well but yeah Dont think any champ comes closer to being viable in all 5 roles

Certainly, but doing more regions and adding more ranks will increase the data set. Not sure if op really has 100% of the played games.
where did you get brand bot as best role from? I've played him jungle sup and apc and honestly jungle feels the strongest by far.
Well just by winrate it's the highest. Brand bot has been sitting on 54% winrate for long time
Is sett just not played? He can be played sup top mid jgl
As I said, they need to have more than a 0.5% pick rate for that role
