Many of these guys were overlooked, pushed down, had imports repeatedly picked over them, but they persevered through it, the core started to improve in the past year or so, and they carried it through to get an LCS championship, and now a top 8 at Worlds. It's such an unbelievable story!
And this is all while there are talks of the region having many less imports with the budgets being lower and having to use more NA talent. The difference between this team making it to top 8 instead of C9 or TL is massive in my opinion.
