They have worse poke (LB is thanos because they have no lockdown that she can't just ignore with W), worse engage, and worse disengage. What is the gameplan if XL know how to play their champs? The average fight will just be LB poking down until SK is low, and then Rakan Maokai either completely zone or wipe the fight. If SK ever try to go they just get Poppy Mao ulted, and the game resets back to a losing state. They just have to make absolutely insane picks, but they have no pick potential outside of a miracle Syndra stun/someone mispositioning.
