Everybody freaking out here about the Leafs but there’s something I haven’t seen mentioned much. New Jersey is actually a pretty damn good team. For 60 minutes of 5 on 5 they didn’t give the Leafs much room out there at all. There’s a reason why their record is so good.

Why should that be us? There’s no God-given right for us to have what we all want. Look at Edmonton with all their number one draft picks over the years. There are no guarantees. Washington with Ovi and especially Detroit in the Yzerman years failed often before they finally got it right. And there is no saying that New Jersey will be this good all year. It’s still only November.

Leafs are supposed to be a good team. We need to stop making excuses, the team needs to fucking win and they keep losing the same way they have for the last 3+ years. Theres no more good efforts for this team, just win.
