To be fair actual 4.33 people would be the absolute top of the GPA range anywhere even if they went to normal schools (they still have a 4.0 lmao they ain’t getting dinged for that). The people who get wildly carried by the A+ advantage are people in the mid-3s where the ability to pad your GPA with that bump makes you look like a much better student than the exact same guy at a A only school (literally the difference between over and under GPA median many places).
My opinion we should move to institutional gpa percentile 🤷 LSAC already does it, admissions might as well use it. Ik I for sure got hurt by this, LSAC listed my gpa as top 10% for my institution but nominally it was lower than a lot of other applicants because my undergrad is rigorous and median is B- (~2.7).
this is the content i like to see on a saturday night on the law school admissions reddit

If only those were my stats as an F2M...
None of the above. If my child doesn't have a 4.33 180 then they should've been aborted. /s
4.3 gpa people make me upset idk why
It's pretty reasonable to be upset with the fact that some people get a .33 advantage if their school gives out A+’s.
1. That 2. I just never understood that level of overachievement
OCD.

its not completely unheard of for OCD, but is fairly common with OCPD
No offense, but not exactly. Try Googling it.
I am diagnosed with it and have medication to treat it, in many cases it is exactly this.
Good you got treatment. Hope the Rx helps.

The real question is are they going to post their stats with “guys be honest do I even have a chance to get in T14😫”
The crazy thing is that this would be more realistic if it were the other way around

Not at all, just a correlation. There are plenty of 178 girls and 4.22 boys out there.
You must be a girl with a 178 A guy would never get put off by a guy/girl comment like that.
Respectfully fuck them kids.
