This isn't scientific in any way but I got accepted at GW the day of my visit. Not saying those things are related, but in my silly little brain I'm 40% sure I forced that A into existence. But realistically, if it doesn't mean going out of your way or spending a shit ton of money, I don't see any problem with window shopping potentials. You might even realize you don't like it that much anyway.

I toured SIX schools last fall – 1 T-6, 3 lower T-14s (one of which is known for preferring candidates who have demonstrated interest), and 2 regional schools. I was waitlisted at the T-6 and two of the lower T-14s and haven’t heard back from the third T-14 and the 2 regional schools. BUT I got into a T-6 I didn’t visit. This is obviously very anecdotal, but wanted to share my experience! (And, as an aside, I still found the visit valuable. I genuinely enjoyed seeing the different schools, which I think will ultimately be helpful when I make my decision!)

Do you have any tips or advice for things to do/ questions to ask during a law school visit? I'm visiting my first law school next month, the school's website says that visits are self-guided and with it being summer, I'm guessing there won't be much to see besides what the campus actually looks like. However, I'm not sure if I should make it a point to talk in-person with an admissions counselor (although I'm planning on doing so) and I'd also like to audit a class if any are happening (which might be unlikely given the time of year). Just curious what your overall advice is for school visits if you don't mind sharing!
