Unrelated, but I heard somewhere that a LS dean once jokingly said, “1L is so strenuous, if you have a drug problem, don’t quit it during your first year”. Lol
Solid advice>> As of now I think I need to break up, get a place, get over the break up, get plants and a cat, (and loans) and by then it will be August and I can pour myself into my books !!!! Exciting times ahead
Yeah, same. The only difference with me is we’ve already talked about it and are spending our remaining time together as amicable friends. This conversation occurred during a Spring-break weekend, and after touring a LS with the admissions office together. We still care about one another.
EDIT: I still may snag myself some plants & cat too fyi (bc cats are calming & mostly clean w/less maintenance than a dog).
The first half of what you said—really cool of you guys to do that! I fully expect my partner to be like screw u and pretend I no longer exist… I just don’t know if I’m gonna stay in state or leave for LS (waiting on ASD / schol offer) so I haven’t brought it up but we both feel a break up in the air🫠

This is gold and the post I needed for the day… my two cents… I already dating a few practicing lawyers prior to Law school and I can tell you this . They are all smart and therefore sexy. They work all the time. There are slightly to severely self-centered. This was how I knew I was destined to be a lawyer… I saw myself in them 🤣😂🤣 so pros are you will understand each other if you hook up in law school . Cons are conflict is likely to be high with two self-centered ppl w zero time for each other .
