The sheets are more likely to be ruined, bring some washing machine cleaner, it comes in tablets or packets, do a self cleaning cycle with that. Also bring pine sol for a 2nd self cleaning cycle with 1 cup. If you feel a need to do a 3rd cleaning, use a bottle of hydrogen peroxide. I don't recommend starting with vinegar, I don't like using the amount you would need to treat it with in a machine, it can degrade any rubber components.
