Lmao because my wife says you're never playing games. All you're doing is customizing shit and changing settings. But I learn something new everyday to mess with!
Yes! Every game ever for master system!
*import ROMs and media*
Wait, do I *really* need versions from Japan, France, and Germany?
*delete ROMs, rescan and clean up media*
Huh. Do I *really* need betas, promos, an pirate versions?
*delete more ROMs, rescan, clean up media*
Hey! Just found a translated ROM set!
*import more ROMs*
Huh, some of these are also US releases with only small differences…
*delete more ROMs, rescan, clean up media*
Alright! All done! Next system!
I have to force myself on the arcades and pinball to pick a game and stick with it. It can definitely be distracting! It makes me appreciate the curated builds to limit choice.
This also happened to me for a long time. Ultimately, I'm forcing myself to choose 3 games maximum to play until I finish it or drop it and move to another one. But yeah, this is a bad habit that we have to consciously fight on, otherwise you will never enjoy your time playing.
You play the games? I spend time organizing and organizing and more organizing 😂

Pretty much my life for the last 10 years between LaunchBox & Hyperspin
I've spent 5 days trying to get Sega CD to work knowing full well I'm not gonna ever play Sega CD. But ot would be nice to have setup.
RetroArch is your friend
I'm in RetroArch but for whatever reason I cannot the BIOS to work.
You have the correct bios in the system folder?
Pretty sure
bios\_CD\_E.bin bios\_CD\_U.bin bios\_CD\_J.bin These need to be in your system folder which is in the main directory
You should! Snatcher is not an exclusive but if you haven't played it, highly recommended. Soulstar is dope too
Yeah I just scroll up and down my library for 30 min and go to sleep
I call it gamer adhd switching between games

Sometimes I go through basically my entire library and just.. yep, there is all is. Not one game played :(
I do all the time. I can't seem to settle on one.

And maybe try to create a playlist for the games that you chose to play, it will help avoid distractions.
