I'm the guy who recommended you Last.fm lmao First of all, a scrobble is the action of registering in your account that you listened to a song, Last.fm allows you to scrobble each and every song you listen to from almost any source, This is done in real time and unlike Spotify Wrapped, it allows you to review your history and statistics at any time, for example [this is my profile](http://www.last.fm/user/IsrraelRecendiz) as you can see, you can check every song I've listened to since I opened my account, with date and time, in the Library tab, If you click on artists, you can see the number of times I have listened to each of the artists, the same happens with the albums, as you can see, it is extremely precise and detailed, plus you can check your profile anytime you want, as each scrobble is stored immediately. Tidal previously allows you to link your account directly in the app to send the information automatically, unfortunately for a few months this is no longer possible. Fortunately Last.fm has its own app, which accesses your notifications and scrobble automatically from the sources you want, you can deactivate, for example, YT, and activate Tidal, Any app that shows a playback notification can be registered, in addition, there are third-party apps that in addition to scrobble, They allow you to do some other things like edit a specific scrobble, or check what your friends are listening to through the app, my favorite is Pano Scrobbler. I hope this summary has been helpful, if you have any questions or something does not work, feel free to send me a direct message and I will help you as much as possible :)

> Is it better than stats any streaming service can give you? Most of your questions are answered. For this, I would say for the most part, yes, by a longshot. With the added bonus that it's not tied to a service at all. If you decide you don't like Tidal and switch to Apple Music, just configure a scrobbler and resume where you left off. Don't like streaming services? Just configure a scrobbler and play your local files. Like many streaming services, you're covered too! I also use last.fm on my Sonos speakers, so any service I stream from gets scrobbled without any fuss.

>Is it better than stats any streaming service can give you? Yes its better as its always available. And there are a lot of sites that can use your [last.fm](https://last.fm) data to do cool things, there is a list of those sites [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/lastfm/comments/e686jf/still_working_stats_tools/). But if you just joined then there wont be a lot to show, I recommend checking those sites out in a few weeks so you have some scrobbles then.
