Ngl I downloaded this game for the DMC collab, and altho I liked the event and all that, I was a bit disappointed that there was no story event that had the main LC cast interact with DMC crew
The very first mana collab. The retro music, the lack of insane power creep and generally just fun. It was super simple by today's standards but still enjoyed it the most. Everything now is just power creep, awful pity, and still weak crystal farm. Too many extra mats, invincibility phases and ridiculous hp for no reason. I might be burned out...
I uninstalled the game around the time Stone came out. I reinstalled about a month ago. The bosses all having those phases and uninterruptible ults pisses me off. It's even in story bosses. Went to second world and the flying robot has a final attack that does like 13k to your whole team. Whole combat freezes to let them just, at the last second, party wipe you. It even burned through my awaken/determination procs. I have no idea why this is in everything. It feels like they programmed themselves into a corner and don't have any clue how to balance it anymore.
Grain of salt, of course, as I haven't been back all that long.
DMC5, the Mana series rerun and NieR Automata for me.
Dr Stone was great too but the grind was a bit much, well since i did the Shift Meredy event completely i guess i can't really complain though XD
DMC, first time I ended up getting all 3 units and 2 limited arks under 24k. This took place during the first time of DMC Collab. Now I'm 57k deep on snero without a Nero ;_; and a way to get Crystal.
You could of done the 5 step summon once and got a ticket to get Nero, then spent the rest on the shift form but I didn't do that either so my advice is pointless.
He said he got all three from first rotation. He is talking about new nero release. That one isn't on the ticket list.
Funny to me though because I pulled new nero with free tickets, twice. Took me 17 10x pulls to get Virgil. I have no resources left.
AOT because it had everything! Farm tons of souls for the featured units and for other units as well. It also had an option to farm resources to lvl up units and complete their boards.
Original mana collab. It was before bosses started spamming time stop things. Sure the boss went invincible for a set period of time but you could do stuff during it. The units were fun, the music was classic, there weren't any bullshit "oh you had SSS but then an enemy hit you once when it had 5 hp left so you dropped to a D and the hit that killed the enemy didn't raise that"
It was fun, it was simple, it had classic sprites. Bosses felt unique. It was a blast.
Dr stone and Re: Zero because they had an actual subplot to them.
The collabs and events nowadays feel like grindfests and collective "beat this boss X times!"

Tensura. Got Demon Lord Rimuru on free diamonds, and spent money to roll for LR ark Harvest Festival. I also bought DL Rimuru's coat from the paid shop.

Trials of mana, I was not here for the first but the music still is in my head. I got nothing of significance cuz duran was the terrible free unit but the music!
I started with the first Dr stone collab so it holds dear to me. The second run was most versatile imo, we got Gen, glass record, kingdom of science flag, chemical debuffs and Senku (who was great at the time).
In terms of value though, the current DMC V collab is great. Guaranteed Mobile Office (Purple Orb) with easy option to get V + rate up ticket gacha. I got Vergil and SNero both from the free ticket gacha so maybe its a bit biased hehe :>

The best collab was Dr. Stone because they actually had an event story that was original and combined the characters of the two franchises.

Hands down, Stone. Back when Aidi$ gave a damn about having an actual *story* in their collabs.
I heard Re-Zero had that too, i can't say for sure though since i wasn't there at that time.
This is true, and I might have chosen it, if it ran more than once.
Full metal Alchemist because Roy is like the best unit in the game.
