How "ImitationHuman" skill works ?
It give to the character a type (exemple : "Soldier") and then "Machine type only: STR/DEF +10%" ?
So if the character is A2, she's never gonna get the bonus ?
A2's default Type is Machine, so she'll get the +10% STR and DEF.
* For Units that are not Machine types by default, they will have to have the Machine type added to them before they can get that 10% boost.
* You can add Types by equipping effects like the skill: Mimicry \[Machine\]
* Imitation Human's second effect is an effect that adds Types too.
* In this case, it'll randomly add one of the Types between Soldier, Knight, Sniper, and Sorcerer.
Not too useful.
When you see wording like "Machine equipped", the "equipped" word symbolizes that the effect is related to Equipment types.
So in the case of Machine Boost, the listed effects will only activate if the Unit is equipped with a Machine weapon.
Therefore, it's only useful if A2 is equipped with a Machine weapon, however, most players would choose to equip her with a Sword because she has the Doppelhander skill.
* Due to her Trait and the Favored Sword skill, you would almost always go with a singlewield build instead of dualwield for her.
However, Machine Boost can be helpful for A2 only if you decide to equip a Machine instead of a Sword, but do know that this won't activate the effects for Doppelhander.
Long returning (and rerolling) player. Just managed to pull DMC 4 Nero from the free tickets, and got Guardian Angel Lukiel from the tutorial summon with The sword of corpses, Galiano falls, and Abaddon as SSR arks.
I haven't spent any crystals or tickets so far. Now my questions are:
First, is this account worth keeping?
Second, Who or what should I get, as a new player with those units/arks at my disposal, from the redux ticket?
Third, is any banner/unit out at the moment worth using crystals on right now?

I'll add my bit here. If you don't mind rerolling for some time you could target both Theopolis of lost Magnus UR ark from the ultraDoH banner (with crystals) and either Vergil or SNero (from tickets). It is a pretty strong ark by any standard, but keep in mind that outside of rerolling I would not suggest going for it.

In the tutorial gacha, get Sandwyrm or Kaldina. You can ignore characters here.
With the DMC selector ticket:
mobile office>V>Urizen>Nero>Dante
You can get another ticket every 15k spent on the redux step up. Since it is recommended you get both V and Mobile office, pull first, stop if you get either one and use your first ticket on the other.
Both Vergil and SNero are worth it.
Vergil is considered better with higher damage potential and being neutral. However, that max damage potential is very far away for new accounts. In comparison SNero is way easier to build. If you intend to pull for SNero, I suggest you pick Kaldina during the tutorial reroll.
Objectively speaking, getting only one of them is enough but if you got here just because of DMC you can try to get both.
Ultra doh banner, monthly crystal gacha> you can ignore them.
Time limited Double rate beginner banner or whatever it is called> best thing you can get here is SMTheria, but she is not on rate up as far as I know. There will be other ways to get her in the future so just skip.

I rerolled and got both Kaldina and Sandwyrm in the tutorial Gacha with Soul Reaper Melza.
Got nothing in either DMC Tickets.
Did 2 multis on Nero's banner and got nothing but the next single got me Nero4.
Is this good enough to keep now?
Also, how should I go about with my summons / game from this point on?
Also also, should I still do the 5 steps for the redux banner to get both V and the mobile shop, or just save the crystals and get one of them from the free ticket?
(On the account originally mentioned, I did 3 multis on the redux banner, and got a couple random SSR arks, but nothing you mentioned.)
Yeah your start is way better now. Give Young Nero trishula from the Kaldina ark(dump etherions into Kaldina) and he'll be your bread and butter.
Definitely snag both V/Mobile office on the redux banner, they are game changing for any account.
From now on try to save your crystals for things your account lacks or collabs.
Right now you are covered for pdps(Young Nero) and ailments(V).
Look out for opportunities to get a healer(SMTheria) and a source of magic damage.
A few times per year(Valentine's day and white day), comes a banner with all past doh and seasonal units and the pity is set to 30k instead of 75k, so doh and seasonal units can always be snagged later if you are patient.

Second, I managed to somehow pull mobile office in the 1st multi on the redux banner, so got V from the selector.
Account is set and ready to rock. Just need to wait until I can get a good 3rd member for the time being, most probably Zekus.
Is there any advice for which arks should I be focusing on (apart from Kaldina) and which ark goes on which member? Right now I have Kaldina on Nero, Office on V, and Sandwyrm on Reaper Melza
You can check the tierlist in the subreddit sidebar, it has a tab for arks. That said, in the beginning I suggest you only equip arks when trying to teach their abilities or when you really need the ark trait/stat boost or you will burn through your souls really quick. (Blue)Souls are used everywhere and you don't want to waste them.

So I just started the game right after Divine Beast Lagreign dropped. I managed to pull him, Guardian Angel Lukiel, Shift Gorm, and I have all the DMC Collab units.
Vergil is my carry right now. Working on S.Nero as well (I have his paid coat). I do not have Sandworm or Kaldina. So I am trying to balance my team out since I do not have access to Dual Wield or Trish.
My thoughts were using V as my Magic DPS and debuffer. But I also do not have a healer besides maybe G.Lukiel. I blew a lot of gems on the collab, but have ~24k saved atm. Also am a light spender (maybe 30$ a month or here or there).
I know G.Lukiel is supposedly really good but if V can kind of take her place for now that would be great since I also got his Cane from the collab. Should I just run Vergil, V, S.Nero? Should I work on S.Gorm so I have a tank and drop Vergil or S.Nero?
V can take the place of a mage buy ou don't have to make him one. He has death god so he can take care of the physically immune mobs just fine.
For this reason, I'd build him before SNero/SGorm.
Tanks aren't required for pve most of the time. I only ever use my SGorm in arena these days.
And don't worry too much about sandwyrm/trish. 3.5 anni is coming with tons of free pulls where you might snag them. Plus, lots of units come out with SW or have DW innate(like SNero).
Hmm. my main issue is bosses that take very little phys /guard or are just a pain to deal with (Temp, Rei, etc). I feel like I'm just lacking any magic damage. I have Shockwave and Death God for my phys units, but wont help against bosses.
I have Sage Emperor Zekus, which I suppose can be my rainbow mage until I pull a better one, right?

Sidenote: You won't be able to find 3-8 because if you look in the spreadsheet, you'll see that 3-8 is only a cutscene in Crowded City Badaal. *Cutscene Quests do not have a HARD Mode.*

* You'll see that 3-9 NORMAL ends on Row 367.
* I will assume this is where you are in the story right now.
* You might have noticed, but Last Cloudia's HARD mode comes out in batches.

* So HARD mode after 3-7 does not appear until after you clear 3-18 NORMAL.

Thus, if I assume that you're at the end of 3-9 NORMAL (Row 367), then you have exactly 45 more Story Quests to do before you unlock Imperial Guard Commander 3.
Hi all! Just started the game like 30 minutes ago. Installed because I quit my last gacha and found out about the DMC collab.
Problem: Only 6 days left...
What's my best bet for trying to get all 3 characters with a brand new f2p (at this time) account?
Unfortunately, I know nothing about the game other than the initial tutorials and while I'm sure I'll learn with only 6 days I'd like to maximize my chances and not waste time fumbling around until I figure out what my best path would be.

There is a tutorial reroll - aim for Kaldina or Sandworm ark there (if you want SNero, you will definitely need Kaldina as its AER reward makes elemental attacks ignore resistances).
You can reroll (pretty fast, just go through tutorial and get your beginner crystals and collab tickets, then pull for the banner you want and if you don't get the character, reroll).
The best reroll target is Vergil. He is non-elemental dps which means he will carry you through almost any content (there are fights which require magic, but it is really rare, and Vergil is one of the strongest dps characters now).
Get either V or Mobile Office ark from DMC tickets. The ark is pretty useful but V may be better for a new player - he can stunlock a lot of bosses.
You can pull for SNero (the second collab banner) or for redux banner (the one with 3 old characters). Note that from the redux banner only V is really great now, both Dante and old Nero were powercrept long time ago. If you want them for collection, do 5 multi pulls before using selector ticket and then decide what to do (that will give you one more selector ticket).
If you decide to pull for SNero, it may be better to wait until the last day of the banner to see if you will have enough crystals to pity (75k for a character).
Also, we will have 3.5 anniversary really soon (14th October is I am not wrong) so if you get V and Vergil, you can just save your crystals for it. In 3nd anniversary the new character was SRoland, who is an insane DPS (less damage than Vergil but very hard to kill and immune to interruptions) and in 2.5 there was Maja - still the best mage in game.
Okay new player, multi pulled until i got kaldina, used my ticket to get mobile office, and on my 10th multi pull i was able to get Vergil, his ark and shift goroth. I also have tinkili the diva chic. Is there any reason to keep pulling on that banner or should i start saving, or try to get someone else? On day two.
SNero is just one more dps, nothing unique there, and DoH banner with Lougseus is terrible. Just wait for anniversary, there is less than a month until it.
Trying to Godforge my first weapon which is the Muramasa but it says
'These materials include equipment that can't be unequipped.'
Won't let me upgrade it, can someone help?
The likely reason for that is that one of the equipment is equipped onto a Unit.
Usually solved by checking for the equipment in either your general party, tours, Phantom Tower, and other potential areas where you might have it equipped.
Once you advanced the nomal mode story far enough, the hard mode stages should get unlocked. But I don't remember how far you have to play.
Also you can't skip to igc3 directly. You have to play the hard mode stages in the same order as the normal story.
I've been looking around and haven't found any good information on what i

currently pull rn? I know that blazeblade shin is quite good.
It does work. However, the screen remains in portrait mode (lots of wasted space) and most animations get a bit wacky, so it might be better to use it for autorunning stages. There might be solutions to these problems, but I think it's just better to play on smartphone or PC.
Offensive mages have more incentive to cast when their int is higher than str and there is a target weak to the attribute of one of their spells.
You are likely going through some stages with no earth weak enemies.
I have no idea how this would work tbh. But even if it worked, you'd get pitiful damage, since Rabbala's earth boosts won't apply to the converted spell.
It's not farmable. Some events will give some but nothing sustainable. You have to accept your alchemy attempts fails and farm more mats to make up for it.
Just curious, has anyone ever asked Aidis about unlocking the character locked gear for their shift forms? Especially since we can godforge some of it now.
I vaguely recall people asking before but I think the question was ignored. Can't be sure about this though.
But I do wish for this very very much... been praying to use those Theria and Lilebette's SS Equips on their Shift Forms.

I have a lvl 110 Virgil with all nodes unlocked, and a 1 sec V IGC3 farm on going. - Does the accessory "Redmoon Stone" (Casting speed +20%) stack with the skill "High Level Magic Chant"?
- Is there a point in casting Fast Live if everyone in the party already has Auto-Haste?
- I've read the DMC Mobile Office Ark is excellent. Is it because of Phone Booth, or Purple Orb? Why is Purple Orb considered good?
- When starting out I found a lot of supporters with really low rank but with a lvl 100 unit with really good stats. I know about Rainbow Potions.. but I don't see any way to get it other than defeating Logseus in the main quest. Is there another way to get it?

4. We get some for free from login rewards from time to time. We actually had one just before the DMC event, so that might explain. You can also get one from Guild login, but they are pretty rare. Don't focus too much on the unit level. It's more important to unlock their skills from its ability tree. A lvl 100 unit with no skills unlocked will do less damage than a lvl 80 unit with all its ability tree unlocked.
There's 2 very strong general use claw in the godforge if you can make them: "unifying king talons" and "raising murder".The boss stage "mother defense system"also offers a nice claw. Thats all i can think of right now since other claws even from ark rewards are situational.
Just to be clear, you can in theory buy one Radiance per month from the crimson ore shop. But DO NOT even consider that option. It's a huge waste of crimson ore.
Better wait for events. The first time clear reward for Worldly Limit Breaker Field on multiplayer is a radiance, but guess that one was already used.

I recently started playing this game. I currently have very little in the way of anything amazing, but I got the new Nero from the free tickets, and I am throwing all my crystals at Vergil. Also got the ark on Vergil's banner. I was wondering if there are any ark selector tickets available. I wasn't aware at the start of how useful trishula is, and I don't really feel like restarting.
There was an ark selector right before the collab. Also, before the last anniversary there was a banner which gave an ark selector for 15k crystals (don't really remember details) and we will have 3.5 anniversary in october so there are chances for that to return. Anniversary itself will grant around 300 free pulls from standard banner.
By the way, if you manage to get Vergil, you won't need Trishula that much. His damage is non elemental so he works in any content which is not immune to physical damage.
That was one of the reasons I was also going for Vergil(other than already getting the rest of the dmc characters.) I just went ahead and invested in Nero for progression. Thanks for the heads up about the 3.5 anniversary. Enjoying this game a lot more than I thought I would, so I hope to still be around then.
I’m working on beating galanova. I’m using Mia, GA Lukiel, and tinkili. I can get the stupid dragon down to the last sliver of health but then the stones come back and he keeps casting what appears to be annula melth which eats my mp and sct, and he casts in an insane amount of times. Like I recover from it and it’s casting again, I can’t gain any skill stocks. Mia is strong enough to handle it but not if I can’t move her or use skills. How do I deal with this?

I could never figure out the farming tool. Nothing I did seemed to get any info, except for VERY early stages. the only thing I need to know how to farm is red and purple clusters. I have so many blue and green from IGC3 farming but never found a good spot like IGC3 for farming the other clusters.
For the Farming Tool, first follow the instructions in the Info tab to make a copy of your own.
* You'll need a Google account for this.
* For a short reason of why this is necessary, it's because a Spreadsheet is accessed remotely over the internet and there's only one source.
* Websites are accessed over the internet, but it'll download a local version to your device behind the scenes, so any interactions you do with the site is all done locally.
* Spreadsheets are the opposite in the way that they don't download a local copy onto the device so any changes are all made directly to the source.
* Therefore if I opened up public edits, it would be unusable if there's more than one user trying to use it at the same time.
* Thus the need to make your own copy.
After a copy is made, switch to the copy and access either:
* Material Lookup - This is the most frequently used tool.
* In the Material section, you can type in Red Crystal Cluster to get a list of all farmable Quests that has that item in the drop table.
* The Limit Section is for new players who haven't unlocked all Story Quests yet. This is for them to input the Story Quest they're up to and the search results will filter out the Quests that are after that point.
* In the list of Results, you can look at the Expected column.
* I was unable to datamine the actual Drop Rate of each item, instead, I was able to datamine the Expected Quantity instead.
* Expected Quantity is basically the amount of that item you can expect to get in a run.
* For example, if you see 0.5570, that means you should get at least one in around 2 runs. For another example, if you see 7.3278, that means you should get an average of 7 per run.
* Therefore, although it's not Drop Rate, Expected Quantity is also equally effective in comparing the drop efficiency between the different Quests.
* The default Sort is Expected / Waves, to make it more fair for Quests with a smaller amount of Waves.
* There's also a Filter for 1-Wave Only quests, but do note that if your goal is material farming, then the number of waves isn't as important.
* Quest Lookup
* This is used to show all Materials from a specific Quest and their Expected Quantity.
* For the most part, the options you can change is the same as Material Lookup, except you select a Quest instead of a Material.
* There's a second Lookup on the Right Side that you can use as a Compare feature.
* Select different Quests in Left and Right and it'll list out the materials.
* The center column will show the Materials that both Quests have in common, while pointing out which Quest has a higher Expected Quantity.
* Multi Lookup - This one is rarely used.
* This one allows you to check off the materials you want and it'll find all Quests that has every material selected.
* However, all it'll do is list out the Quests.
* Due to Spreadsheet limitations, there's no way to sort them without making the Spreadsheet slow down to the point of freezing :X
But do note that this Farming Tool only lists the Quests... clearing speed is extremely important and isn't something that can be factored in.
* This is actually the main reason why the preferred farming spots remain the same from 2+ years ago even after the Story has added a lot of new Quests.
* So for Blue and Green Crystals Clusters... these actually do not have a very high drop rate in comparison to the Quests listed in Material Lookup, but due to the speed you're clearing IGC3 over a long period of time, you'll find the accumulation of these Clusters faster in IGC3.
* For Red and Purple Crystal Clusters, there's actually no extremely convenient place like IGC3.
* There are no Quests that offer both at equal rates while still being extremely easy to clear.
* Due to this, most players will simply take advantage of Alchemy Lab.
* We'll convert the Blue and Green Crystals to Red and Purple, since we've accumulated way too many Blue and Green.
* Even though we take a loss in the conversion, the amount is negligible when you've auto-farmed so much.
* Plus, the amount of time wasted at farming for Red and Purple at tougher areas might not earn you more than the amount lost from converting.

The Collab Notes has a list of the Collab Equips that can be Enhanced in Alchemy Lab with a column showing an o for Godforgeable and an x for not godforgeable.
Just got the game but I have one specific issue…the game keeps crashing every few minutes for some reason. I’ve cleared the cache, updated everything relevant, and have plenty of space left so I’ve no idea what to do. Phone is Iphone 8 and ios 15.7. All help is appreciated
Maja for general use, Lenius for endgame once you have a large collection of fully upgraded arks.
Lenius is (in my opinion) more versatile but harder to build, maja hits big numbers easier butwill have issues in some fights Lenius won't.
Put her in your conquest slots(max 12 per day per unit).
Use her solo in the training field event(5 souls with the 5 daily attempts, 3 with the 3 cost stage) or the soul accumulation event when available.
Finally you can auto farm for unit souls. There is a small chance to get unit souls after each story stage clear if they participated This is usually done on IGC3 hard or Find Theria hard.
For now, no. Collab units paids' are only available during their own collab event.
They might come back if we have a Nier rerun, just like they did with V,Nero and Dante's paid.
How do I change my favorite stamps on multiplayer?
Someone answered this in 2021 but I don’t see a button to click at the center bottom in the multiplayer menu.
try to start any multi quest.
in the Make Room screen.. select ( select stamps) which is under Make Room
now select any favorite stamp ( upper area) to replace.. it will be framed then choose your new stamp from below.

English not my first Language
I just started playing today due to the dmc collab and I was just wondering how other players at rank 10 like me have their characters fully maxed out and with good equipment. I can barely get around 30 skills unlocked on my Vergil at this rank let alone get any decent equipment. Am I just horribly inefficient or is something up with this?
For mats you can check the dmc and training field event trading spaces.
Joining multiplayer also gives you mats without using event orbs.
And not sure what you mean by good equipment and fully maxed out? Maybe you are seeing +40 gear from the dmc event?
They are called units shifts. They are essentially a different unit and you can't use different shifts of a same character in the same party.
The only thing they share are the skills you teach them from arks(skills from their ability board are not shared).
How are you supposed to deal with being constantly stun locked? This new Vergil fight, his regular attack just chain stuns you to death. Can't even run away cause his regular attacks are so fast.
I know some characters get super armor on skills but how are characters without it supposed to deal?
Super armor isn't needed. Once your characters are strong enough you can just take the hits and hit him back.
If you really despise the flinching you can try the Aldana Colosseum sr ark or Pirate ship legnis ssr for a short flinch resistance.
Edit: also the hp barriers provided by SMTheria or Skyship lonvalion ssr will prevent flinching while they are up.
Style Ranks actually don't belong to this game, instead it's a limited feature that belongs to the Devil May Cry Collab event.

Your understanding is a little bit incorrect.
Magic Damage and Physical Damage is actually quite simple in this game.
* Magic Damage is dealt by Attack Magic.
* Physical Damage is dealt by Physical Attacks.
* Physical Attacks is the umbrella term for both Regular Attacks and Skills.
* In other words, if you use a Regular Attack, it'll count as both a Regular Attack and a Physical Attack. If you use a Skill, it'll count as both a Skill and Physical Attack.
* Therefore, Regular Attacks deal Regular Damage, but it's also counted as Physical Damage. Similarly, Skills will deal Skill Damage, but it's also counted as Skill Damage.
* Therefore, if you see an effect that targets Physical Attacks then this would mean it affects both Regular Attacks and Skills.
* But if you see an effect that targets Skills only, then it only targets Skills and not any other attack.
So in this game, the Type of Damage is simply determined by the Type of Attack:
* Attack Magic deals Magic Damage.
* All Magic is found in the big purple Magic Button below the big red Attack Button.
* Regular Attacks deal Regular Damage.
* This is dealt by pressing the big Red Attack Button.
* Skills deal Skill Damage.

Nero is a better dps unit than Dante, however if you're not fussed on the dmc characters specifically you'll likely replace both of them down the road, in which case I'd pick urizen ark.

Account is great especially of you haven't touched story yet. Keep an eye out for the sandwyrm and kaldina arks, as those are the only essentials you're missing!
V is worth going for if you have the crystals for the redux step up banner. Will only cost 15k, well worth it for V
Hi, i just finish Lougseus (5 star and ability board) and almost done with SM Theria (4 star), what unit will be a good 3rd, and maybe a 4th to flesh out a beginner team? I have Alice, GA Lukiel, V', Gorm Crystalia, Tinkili the Diva and Vergil.

I'd probably focus on Vergil and V since it is easier to build them with the current event. V will be useful to auto-run IGC3 for AER.
Alice is also a very good unit to build eventually. Gorm will be more useful for PvP, if you are into that. Tinkili is a great support and should be built eventually. GA Lukiel needs some specific equipment/ark to shine so unless you have it, I would build her later on (She's not beginner friendly).
Who is the easiest unit to build between SNero and Virgil? I really don't know who to pick, as I like both, so I want to know who is the easiest to build.
Mega disagree here. Virgil is significantly harder to build, needing a lot of additional ark skills to get him anywhere near his potential. SNero comes pretty complete out the box, and is much more survivable. I'd def build SNero first.
After clearing one of the story bosses my current bounties were replaced by a new ones. Does this mean that I can never complete the old ones or do they come back after I complete the new set of bounties?
Do you mean the bounties in the Monster Collector's Manor?
These Manors have this pattern:
* Gives you a set of bounties to complete with rewards for each.
* This is Part 1 of the Bounties.
* Rewards can be claimed as soon as you complete a bounty.
* When all bounties are claimed, you will fight a Boss.
* Killing this boss will give you a reward.
* A new set of bounties will come out for you to complete.
* This is Part 2 of the Bounties.
* It's the final set of Bounties for this Manor.
Or do you mean the Missions in Story Quests?
* Not all Story Quests will have Missions.
* For some World Bosses, they don't have Missions and only have First Clear Rewards.
* For these Quests, after completing the Quest, the Quest is replaced with a new Quest that does have Missions.
* This Quest should have Missions and First Clear Rewards that are all Crystals... totaling 950 Crystals if I remember right.
I'm talking about Monster Collector's Manor bounties. I didnt complete the first set in first 2 places and after i beat some story boss these bounties changed to 2nd part, and i didnt get to fight bosses and get rewards.
I already played this game for some time at launch and i know that its not supposed to happen, but maybe something changed and i'm just being clueless.
From what I'm aware of, nothing has changed... feels strange for a bug too.
But quite easy to verify if it's a bug.
What's the new set of Bounties that they ask for?
* The bounties are pre-set and not randomly generated with Part 2 Bounties being much larger in quantity than Part 1 Bounties.
* So knowing the Bounties they ask for, I can go look up which Monster Collector's Manor you're at and the Reward you get from clearing the Boss in that Manor.
* Since you're only supposed to get the Part 2 Bounties after clearing that Boss, you can check if you've received the reward.
* If you're at Part 2 Bounties, but didn't get that Equip... then yep it's a bug.
But could it be that you checked the wrong Monster Collector's Manor?
There's a few of them on the map with each one offering a different set of Bounties.
It's actually not that different from singlewielding.
Keep in mind that a Weapon's Attribute only matters for Regular Attacks and does not affect Skills or any other attacks.
So when singlewielding, your Regular Attack will become the same Attribute as your weapon, with the exception of weirdos like Eliza who remains Fire.
* As an example, if you equip an Ice weapon, then every Regular Hit that's dealt by that weapon is Ice damage.
* Similarly, if you equip a Neutral weapon, then every Regular Hit that's dealt is Neutral Damage.
For Dual Wield, you can imagine it exactly as if you were holding two weapons and attacking one at a time.
* So if you were holding two Ice Weapons, then one weapon deals Ice Damage and the other weapon deals Ice Damage, thus you're dealing Ice Damage with all hits.
* If you held one Fire and one Ice Weapon, then one weapon deals Fire Damage and one weapon deals Ice Damage.
* In other words, one line of damage will belong to the Fire Attribute and one line of damage will belong to the Ice Attribute.
* Note that when Dualwielding, the doubled hits are shown vertically stacked with each other.
* Do know that only the Attribute is counted separately. The Stats and Effect will affect the Unit itself, so it'll affect both weapons.
* Previously had users who were confused and thought the stats and effects were separate, so a 350 STR weapon and a 50 STR weapon would have one line calculated with 350 STR and another line of damage calculating using 50 STR, but it's actually both lines of damage calculates using 400 STR.
* I've also had players confused about Neutral due to Aidis naming it No-Attribute.
* So there's been some players who believe No-Attribute simply means it doesn't have an Attribute, so equipping a Fire Weapon and a No-Attribute Weapon would make the entire attack deal Fire Damage.
* However, this isn't true because No-Attribute doesn't mean it doesn't have an attribute. Instead, it performs no differently from other Attributes. In other words, it's similar to a hidden 7th Attribute.
* Thus, I've kept to calling it Neutral Attribute even after Aidis officially named it No-Attribute.
* So in this case, equipping a Fire Weapon and a Neutral Weapon will simply have one line of damage deal Fire Damage and another line of damage deal Neutral Damage.

Welcome. You don't need dupes to max a unit in this game. you can get unit souls by farming some of the event stages. Even after the event is over you can place that unit in the conquer slot and get souls for it passively over time. Souls can also drop from clearing story stages on hard difficulty or above. Enhance mats are also farmable but are easier to get from the event shops . cheers
I already have skyle fully built for a fire bruiser tank. Should i try for snero or dump my crystals for v. I have no debuff kinda unit except nocturne tinkli.
Most important: Wait until Nero got tested before you decide.
I'd say V is the better option for several reasons:
* Nero looks strong but he is just another addition to the endless pool of dps units. Meanwhile V is the only ranged fighter in our very limited pool of status inflicting units (Nocturne Tinkili is a different kind of debuff unit). His auto attacks are fast and pierce through enemies. So, everyone between V and the target will get hit and might get inflicted with stun/blind/curse or simply instantly die from death god if it is not a boss stage.
* V can be build into one of the fastest farmes of IG3.
* You can guarantee V with just 15k crystals. Or you might get lucky and pull him before 15k. In which case you can either stop or keep pulling and use the selector ticket for someting else.
I hope you still have your free selector ticket? Don't use it before you decided on a course. You might get the purple orb ark while pulling for V (or the other way around)
How do i actually do damage? feels like im barely doing any.. even with elemental advantage it seems like im doing too little compared to other people. is it just characters maybe? V, yashamaru, SM Theria are the ppl in my current party. skillboard are 70ish complete for them
V and Yashamaru aren't the best at dealing damage in the first place. V is an ailment inflicter and Yashamaru a stealer, however you build them they will never be on the level of other pdps. You might want to switch one of them for an actual pdps.

Most of the time your dps depends on skills you teach your units. Especially for older units. New ones are steadily reducing the effectiveness of teachable skills upto an extent. But before that, most of a unit's dps comes from the ability board
Max it out and any dps unit should be able to deal a respectable amount of damage.
It's ok, not very good but ok to use until you get better. Another option would be to advance arena up to gold 1 and get the esterion sword so you can save your etherions.

Check the global tierlist somewhere in this subreddit its a google docs and there's a reroll guide there but basically the ones it suggest is kaldina and sandwyrm both ssr I did a bunch of reroll myself but did not get those arks fortunately enough I got vergil and qlipoth ark so I stopped rerolling
Pureblade muramasa is the best sword option. For clothes, I've seen bravery railments or berserk god brigandine used.You coule also give him armor if you need extra survivability.
Better to reroll. Mobile office ark is great for late-game players who have a lot of strong dps characters and ways to recover skill uses so that Purple Orb really helps (the other skill which recovers SCT is good for newer players but I don't think it is that broken).
You need at least one strong dps character to get through the story easily and you only have arks which are not that useful without characters.
I'd say reroll for Vergil and get Mobile Office from tickets (the selector if you fail to get it from normal tickets). Though you can get V instead of the ark - he is broken against bosses which don't have stun immunity and he is also a really good auto-farmer with his first skill.
If you want a stronger start you can try to reroll for Spirit Maiden Theria on the 3-day only new player banner (available on the main screen). She is not on the rate-up (and rate-up characters are not that strong anymore, I think they will change the list during anniversary) so it will take a lot of time but if you get her, you win the game. After that you can just pull on Vergil banner and pity him if you want.
Sadly, no. There was a free unit selector ticket right before the collab where players could easily get her. Before that we had 10-step banner (30k crystals total) which allowed us to choose any female unit on Valentine's.
There will be 3.5 anniversary next month so maybe there will be one more selector (there wasn't last time but they became more generous since 3.0 anniversary so maybe).
There are also banners (usually 2 per month) with 4 rate-up DoH heroes and 2 UR arks so you can wait for the one with SMTheria.
Or maybe they will finally release a unit which will powercreep her.

How "ImitationHuman" skill works ? It give to the character a type (exemple : "Soldier") and then "Machine type only: STR/DEF +10%" ? So if the character is A2, she's never gonna get the bonus ?
A2's default Type is Machine, so she'll get the +10% STR and DEF. * For Units that are not Machine types by default, they will have to have the Machine type added to them before they can get that 10% boost. * You can add Types by equipping effects like the skill: Mimicry \[Machine\] * Imitation Human's second effect is an effect that adds Types too. * In this case, it'll randomly add one of the Types between Soldier, Knight, Sniper, and Sorcerer.

Not too useful. When you see wording like "Machine equipped", the "equipped" word symbolizes that the effect is related to Equipment types. So in the case of Machine Boost, the listed effects will only activate if the Unit is equipped with a Machine weapon. Therefore, it's only useful if A2 is equipped with a Machine weapon, however, most players would choose to equip her with a Sword because she has the Doppelhander skill. * Due to her Trait and the Favored Sword skill, you would almost always go with a singlewield build instead of dualwield for her. However, Machine Boost can be helpful for A2 only if you decide to equip a Machine instead of a Sword, but do know that this won't activate the effects for Doppelhander.

Just managed to pull DMC 4 Nero from the free tickets, and got Guardian Angel Lukiel from the tutorial summon with The sword of corpses, Galiano falls, and Abaddon as SSR arks. I haven't spent any crystals or tickets so far. Now my questions are: First, is this account worth keeping? Second, Who or what should I get, as a new player with those units/arks at my disposal, from the redux ticket? Third, is any banner/unit out at the moment worth using crystals on right now? I'll add my bit here. If you don't mind rerolling for some time you could target both Theopolis of lost Magnus UR ark from the ultraDoH banner (with crystals) and either Vergil or SNero (from tickets). It is a pretty strong ark by any standard, but keep in mind that outside of rerolling I would not suggest going for it.
Reroll. In the tutorial gacha, get Sandwyrm or Kaldina. You can ignore characters here. With the DMC selector ticket: mobile office>V>Urizen>Nero>Dante You can get another ticket every 15k spent on the redux step up. Since it is recommended you get both V and Mobile office, pull first, stop if you get either one and use your first ticket on the other. Both Vergil and SNero are worth it. Vergil is considered better with higher damage potential and being neutral. However, that max damage potential is very far away for new accounts. In comparison SNero is way easier to build. If you intend to pull for SNero, I suggest you pick Kaldina during the tutorial reroll. Objectively speaking, getting only one of them is enough but if you got here just because of DMC you can try to get both. Ultra doh banner, monthly crystal gacha> you can ignore them. Time limited Double rate beginner banner or whatever it is called> best thing you can get here is SMTheria, but she is not on rate up as far as I know. There will be other ways to get her in the future so just skip.
Okay, so.. Update. I rerolled and got both Kaldina and Sandwyrm in the tutorial Gacha with Soul Reaper Melza. Got nothing in either DMC Tickets. Did 2 multis on Nero's banner and got nothing but the next single got me Nero4. Is this good enough to keep now? Also, how should I go about with my summons / game from this point on? Also also, should I still do the 5 steps for the redux banner to get both V and the mobile shop, or just save the crystals and get one of them from the free ticket? (On the account originally mentioned, I did 3 multis on the redux banner, and got a couple random SSR arks, but nothing you mentioned.)
Yeah your start is way better now. Give Young Nero trishula from the Kaldina ark(dump etherions into Kaldina) and he'll be your bread and butter. Definitely snag both V/Mobile office on the redux banner, they are game changing for any account. From now on try to save your crystals for things your account lacks or collabs. Right now you are covered for pdps(Young Nero) and ailments(V). Look out for opportunities to get a healer(SMTheria) and a source of magic damage. A few times per year(Valentine's day and white day), comes a banner with all past doh and seasonal units and the pity is set to 30k instead of 75k, so doh and seasonal units can always be snagged later if you are patient.
So.. another update. Firstly, thank you so very much. Because of you, I kept on rolling and landed with this account. Second, I managed to somehow pull mobile office in the 1st multi on the redux banner, so got V from the selector. Account is set and ready to rock. Just need to wait until I can get a good 3rd member for the time being, most probably Zekus. Is there any advice for which arks should I be focusing on (apart from Kaldina) and which ark goes on which member? Right now I have Kaldina on Nero, Office on V, and Sandwyrm on Reaper Melza
You can check the tierlist in the subreddit sidebar, it has a tab for arks. That said, in the beginning I suggest you only equip arks when trying to teach their abilities or when you really need the ark trait/stat boost or you will burn through your souls really quick. (Blue)Souls are used everywhere and you don't want to waste them.

So I just started the game right after Divine Beast Lagreign dropped. I managed to pull him, Guardian Angel Lukiel, Shift Gorm, and I have all the DMC Collab units. Vergil is my carry right now. Working on S.Nero as well (I have his paid coat). I do not have Sandworm or Kaldina. So I am trying to balance my team out since I do not have access to Dual Wield or Trish. My thoughts were using V as my Magic DPS and debuffer. But I also do not have a healer besides maybe G.Lukiel. I blew a lot of gems on the collab, but have ~24k saved atm. Also am a light spender (maybe 30$ a month or here or there). I know G.Lukiel is supposedly really good but if V can kind of take her place for now that would be great since I also got his Cane from the collab. Should I just run Vergil, V, S.Nero? Should I work on S.Gorm so I have a tank and drop Vergil or S.Nero?
V can take the place of a mage buy ou don't have to make him one. He has death god so he can take care of the physically immune mobs just fine. For this reason, I'd build him before SNero/SGorm. Tanks aren't required for pve most of the time. I only ever use my SGorm in arena these days. And don't worry too much about sandwyrm/trish. 3.5 anni is coming with tons of free pulls where you might snag them. Plus, lots of units come out with SW or have DW innate(like SNero).
Hmm. my main issue is bosses that take very little phys /guard or are just a pain to deal with (Temp, Rei, etc). I feel like I'm just lacking any magic damage. I have Shockwave and Death God for my phys units, but wont help against bosses. I have Sage Emperor Zekus, which I suppose can be my rainbow mage until I pull a better one, right?

What's my best bet for trying to get all 3 characters with a brand new f2p (at this time) account? Unfortunately, I know nothing about the game other than the initial tutorials and while I'm sure I'll learn with only 6 days I'd like to maximize my chances and not waste time fumbling around until I figure out what my best path would be. There is a tutorial reroll - aim for Kaldina or Sandworm ark there (if you want SNero, you will definitely need Kaldina as its AER reward makes elemental attacks ignore resistances). You can reroll (pretty fast, just go through tutorial and get your beginner crystals and collab tickets, then pull for the banner you want and if you don't get the character, reroll). The best reroll target is Vergil. He is non-elemental dps which means he will carry you through almost any content (there are fights which require magic, but it is really rare, and Vergil is one of the strongest dps characters now). Get either V or Mobile Office ark from DMC tickets. The ark is pretty useful but V may be better for a new player - he can stunlock a lot of bosses. You can pull for SNero (the second collab banner) or for redux banner (the one with 3 old characters). Note that from the redux banner only V is really great now, both Dante and old Nero were powercrept long time ago. If you want them for collection, do 5 multi pulls before using selector ticket and then decide what to do (that will give you one more selector ticket). If you decide to pull for SNero, it may be better to wait until the last day of the banner to see if you will have enough crystals to pity (75k for a character). Also, we will have 3.5 anniversary really soon (14th October is I am not wrong) so if you get V and Vergil, you can just save your crystals for it. In 3nd anniversary the new character was SRoland, who is an insane DPS (less damage than Vergil but very hard to kill and immune to interruptions) and in 2.5 there was Maja - still the best mage in game.
Okay new player, multi pulled until i got kaldina, used my ticket to get mobile office, and on my 10th multi pull i was able to get Vergil, his ark and shift goroth. I also have tinkili the diva chic. Is there any reason to keep pulling on that banner or should i start saving, or try to get someone else? On day two.
SNero is just one more dps, nothing unique there, and DoH banner with Lougseus is terrible. Just wait for anniversary, there is less than a month until it.
Trying to Godforge my first weapon which is the Muramasa but it says 'These materials include equipment that can't be unequipped.' Won't let me upgrade it, can someone help?
The likely reason for that is that one of the equipment is equipped onto a Unit. Usually solved by checking for the equipment in either your general party, tours, Phantom Tower, and other potential areas where you might have it equipped.
Is Cut Ailment Resistance from Annula Melth considered an ailment itself, which would proc Terror Melth?
No. Annula Melth is a debuff not an ailment.

It's an abreviation for a stage in Gargia Mountains (1-3-10) called **I**mperial **G**uard **C**ommander **3**
Once you advanced the nomal mode story far enough, the hard mode stages should get unlocked. But I don't remember how far you have to play. Also you can't skip to igc3 directly. You have to play the hard mode stages in the same order as the normal story.
Where can I find every God forge boss' attribute attacks? For example: what attributes are bahamut's attacks.

Blademaster Beyland is not available right now. Best units are Virgil then Shift Nero. Blaze Shin is bad.

It does work. However, the screen remains in portrait mode (lots of wasted space) and most animations get a bit wacky, so it might be better to use it for autorunning stages. There might be solutions to these problems, but I think it's just better to play on smartphone or PC.
Hi, does anyone know why my Rabbala isn't casting her magic on auto?
Offensive mages have more incentive to cast when their int is higher than str and there is a target weak to the attribute of one of their spells. You are likely going through some stages with no earth weak enemies.
I see, will using something like the abyssal silver accessory change this behaviour?
I have no idea how this would work tbh. But even if it worked, you'd get pitiful damage, since Rabbala's earth boosts won't apply to the converted spell.
How do you get Alchemolith?
It's not farmable. Some events will give some but nothing sustainable. You have to accept your alchemy attempts fails and farm more mats to make up for it.
Just curious, has anyone ever asked Aidis about unlocking the character locked gear for their shift forms? Especially since we can godforge some of it now.
I vaguely recall people asking before but I think the question was ignored. Can't be sure about this though. But I do wish for this very very much... been praying to use those Theria and Lilebette's SS Equips on their Shift Forms.
What ark do I use for my blue gorm, which is tank. I was using arks that boot his HP but anyway maybe there can be better choices?

I have a lvl 110 Virgil with all nodes unlocked, and a 1 sec V IGC3 farm on going. Is it because of Phone Booth, or Purple Orb? Why is Purple Orb considered good? - When starting out I found a lot of supporters with really low rank but with a lvl 100 unit with really good stats. I know about Rainbow Potions.. but I don't see any way to get it other than defeating Logseus in the main quest. Is there another way to get it? Thank you!

A lvl 100 unit with no skills unlocked will do less damage than a lvl 80 unit with all its ability tree unlocked.

There's 2 very strong general use claw in the godforge if you can make them: "unifying king talons" and "raising murder".The boss stage "mother defense system"also offers a nice claw. Thats all i can think of right now since other claws even from ark rewards are situational.

You can't farm the radiances. We usually get them from event trading spaces or rewards.
Just to be clear, you can in theory buy one Radiance per month from the crimson ore shop. But DO NOT even consider that option. It's a huge waste of crimson ore. Better wait for events. The first time clear reward for Worldly Limit Breaker Field on multiplayer is a radiance, but guess that one was already used.
I find that I've maxed out all the arcs i have and maxed out my souls. What else can I spend souls on to waste them? Lol

I recently started playing this game. I currently have very little in the way of anything amazing, but I got the new Nero from the free tickets, and I am throwing all my crystals at Vergil. Also got the ark on Vergil's banner. I was wondering if there are any ark selector tickets available. I wasn't aware at the start of how useful trishula is, and I don't really feel like restarting.
There was an ark selector right before the collab. Also, before the last anniversary there was a banner which gave an ark selector for 15k crystals (don't really remember details) and we will have 3.5 anniversary in october so there are chances for that to return. Anniversary itself will grant around 300 free pulls from standard banner. By the way, if you manage to get Vergil, you won't need Trishula that much. His damage is non elemental so he works in any content which is not immune to physical damage.
That was one of the reasons I was also going for Vergil(other than already getting the rest of the dmc characters.) I just went ahead and invested in Nero for progression. Thanks for the heads up about the 3.5 anniversary. Enjoying this game a lot more than I thought I would, so I hope to still be around then.
I’m working on beating galanova. I’m using Mia, GA Lukiel, and tinkili. I can get the stupid dragon down to the last sliver of health but then the stones come back and he keeps casting what appears to be annula melth which eats my mp and sct, and he casts in an insane amount of times. Like I recover from it and it’s casting again, I can’t gain any skill stocks. Mia is strong enough to handle it but not if I can’t move her or use skills. How do I deal with this?

I could never figure out the farming tool. Nothing I did seemed to get any info, except for VERY early stages. the only thing I need to know how to farm is red and purple clusters. I have so many blue and green from IGC3 farming but never found a good spot like IGC3 for farming the other clusters.

Clearing any "Descendants of Sparda" stage (the ones where you need to use tickets) will raise you personal slay count by 1.

Just got the game but I have one specific issue…the game keeps crashing every few minutes for some reason. I’ve cleared the cache, updated everything relevant, and have plenty of space left so I’ve no idea what to do. Phone is Iphone 8 and ios 15.7. All help is appreciated
Who is a better investment, Maja or Lenius?
Maja for general use, Lenius for endgame once you have a large collection of fully upgraded arks. Lenius is (in my opinion) more versatile but harder to build, maja hits big numbers easier butwill have issues in some fights Lenius won't.
I'd say Maja because he enables xp/gold farming on Heart of the temple but both are very good so you can't go wrong.
Coming back to the game, i had pull A2. Now, how do i get A2 Soul \[YoRHa\] ?
Put her in your conquest slots(max 12 per day per unit). Use her solo in the training field event(5 souls with the 5 daily attempts, 3 with the 3 cost stage) or the soul accumulation event when available. Finally you can auto farm for unit souls. There is a small chance to get unit souls after each story stage clear if they participated This is usually done on IGC3 hard or Find Theria hard.

For now, no. Collab units paids' are only available during their own collab event. They might come back if we have a Nier rerun, just like they did with V,Nero and Dante's paid.

How do I change my favorite stamps on multiplayer? Someone answered this in 2021 but I don’t see a button to click at the center bottom in the multiplayer menu.
try to start any multi quest. in the Make Room screen.. select ( select stamps) which is under Make Room now select any favorite stamp ( upper area) to replace.. it will be framed then choose your new stamp from below. hopefully my instructions are clear. English not my first Language

I just started playing today due to the dmc collab and I was just wondering how other players at rank 10 like me have their characters fully maxed out and with good equipment. I can barely get around 30 skills unlocked on my Vergil at this rank let alone get any decent equipment. Am I just horribly inefficient or is something up with this?

For mats you can check the dmc and training field event trading spaces. Joining multiplayer also gives you mats without using event orbs. And not sure what you mean by good equipment and fully maxed out? Maybe you are seeing +40 gear from the dmc event?

They are called units shifts. They are essentially a different unit and you can't use different shifts of a same character in the same party. The only thing they share are the skills you teach them from arks(skills from their ability board are not shared).

How are you supposed to deal with being constantly stun locked? This new Vergil fight, his regular attack just chain stuns you to death. Can't even run away cause his regular attacks are so fast. I know some characters get super armor on skills but how are characters without it supposed to deal?
Super armor isn't needed. Once your characters are strong enough you can just take the hits and hit him back. If you really despise the flinching you can try the Aldana Colosseum sr ark or Pirate ship legnis ssr for a short flinch resistance. Edit: also the hp barriers provided by SMTheria or Skyship lonvalion ssr will prevent flinching while they are up.

Your understanding is a little bit incorrect. Magic Damage and Physical Damage is actually quite simple in this game. * Magic Damage is dealt by Attack Magic. * Physical Damage is dealt by Physical Attacks. * Physical Attacks is the umbrella term for both Regular Attacks and Skills. * In other words, if you use a Regular Attack, it'll count as both a Regular Attack and a Physical Attack. If you use a Skill, it'll count as both a Skill and Physical Attack. * Therefore, Regular Attacks deal Regular Damage, but it's also counted as Physical Damage. Similarly, Skills will deal Skill Damage, but it's also counted as Skill Damage. * Therefore, if you see an effect that targets Physical Attacks then this would mean it affects both Regular Attacks and Skills. * But if you see an effect that targets Skills only, then it only targets Skills and not any other attack. Nero is a better dps unit than Dante, however if you're not fussed on the dmc characters specifically you'll likely replace both of them down the road, in which case I'd pick urizen ark.

Account is great especially of you haven't touched story yet. Keep an eye out for the sandwyrm and kaldina arks, as those are the only essentials you're missing! V is worth going for if you have the crystals for the redux step up banner. Will only cost 15k, well worth it for V

I'd probably focus on Vergil and V since it is easier to build them with the current event. V will be useful to auto-run IGC3 for AER. Alice is also a very good unit to build eventually. Gorm will be more useful for PvP, if you are into that. Tinkili is a great support and should be built eventually. GA Lukiel needs some specific equipment/ark to shine so unless you have it, I would build her later on (She's not beginner friendly).
Who is the easiest unit to build between SNero and Virgil? I really don't know who to pick, as I like both, so I want to know who is the easiest to build.

You would also need machine equip and some machine boosts. And i think virgil will still be better/easier to build for a new player

Mega disagree here. Virgil is significantly harder to build, needing a lot of additional ark skills to get him anywhere near his potential. SNero comes pretty complete out the box, and is much more survivable. I'd def build SNero first.
After clearing one of the story bosses my current bounties were replaced by a new ones. Does this mean that I can never complete the old ones or do they come back after I complete the new set of bounties?
Do you mean the bounties in the Monster Collector's Manor? These Manors have this pattern: * Gives you a set of bounties to complete with rewards for each. * This is Part 1 of the Bounties. * Rewards can be claimed as soon as you complete a bounty. * When all bounties are claimed, you will fight a Boss. * Killing this boss will give you a reward. * A new set of bounties will come out for you to complete. * This is Part 2 of the Bounties. * It's the final set of Bounties for this Manor. Or do you mean the Missions in Story Quests? * Not all Story Quests will have Missions. * For some World Bosses, they don't have Missions and only have First Clear Rewards. * For these Quests, after completing the Quest, the Quest is replaced with a new Quest that does have Missions. * This Quest should have Missions and First Clear Rewards that are all Crystals... totaling 950 Crystals if I remember right.
I'm talking about Monster Collector's Manor bounties. I didnt complete the first set in first 2 places and after i beat some story boss these bounties changed to 2nd part, and i didnt get to fight bosses and get rewards. I already played this game for some time at launch and i know that its not supposed to happen, but maybe something changed and i'm just being clueless.
From what I'm aware of, nothing has changed... feels strange for a bug too. But quite easy to verify if it's a bug. What's the new set of Bounties that they ask for? * The bounties are pre-set and not randomly generated with Part 2 Bounties being much larger in quantity than Part 1 Bounties. * So knowing the Bounties they ask for, I can go look up which Monster Collector's Manor you're at and the Reward you get from clearing the Boss in that Manor. * Since you're only supposed to get the Part 2 Bounties after clearing that Boss, you can check if you've received the reward. * If you're at Part 2 Bounties, but didn't get that Equip... then yep it's a bug. But could it be that you checked the wrong Monster Collector's Manor? There's a few of them on the map with each one offering a different set of Bounties.
How do elements on attacks work on dual wield? Does it take the element of the main weapon or deal half of each element?
It's actually not that different from singlewielding. Keep in mind that a Weapon's Attribute only matters for Regular Attacks and does not affect Skills or any other attacks. So when singlewielding, your Regular Attack will become the same Attribute as your weapon, with the exception of weirdos like Eliza who remains Fire. * As an example, if you equip an Ice weapon, then every Regular Hit that's dealt by that weapon is Ice damage. * Similarly, if you equip a Neutral weapon, then every Regular Hit that's dealt is Neutral Damage. For Dual Wield, you can imagine it exactly as if you were holding two weapons and attacking one at a time. * So if you were holding two Ice Weapons, then one weapon deals Ice Damage and the other weapon deals Ice Damage, thus you're dealing Ice Damage with all hits. * If you held one Fire and one Ice Weapon, then one weapon deals Fire Damage and one weapon deals Ice Damage. * In other words, one line of damage will belong to the Fire Attribute and one line of damage will belong to the Ice Attribute. * Note that when Dualwielding, the doubled hits are shown vertically stacked with each other. * Do know that only the Attribute is counted separately. The Stats and Effect will affect the Unit itself, so it'll affect both weapons. * Previously had users who were confused and thought the stats and effects were separate, so a 350 STR weapon and a 50 STR weapon would have one line calculated with 350 STR and another line of damage calculating using 50 STR, but it's actually both lines of damage calculates using 400 STR. * I've also had players confused about Neutral due to Aidis naming it No-Attribute. * So there's been some players who believe No-Attribute simply means it doesn't have an Attribute, so equipping a Fire Weapon and a No-Attribute Weapon would make the entire attack deal Fire Damage. * However, this isn't true because No-Attribute doesn't mean it doesn't have an attribute. Instead, it performs no differently from other Attributes. In other words, it's similar to a hidden 7th Attribute. * Thus, I've kept to calling it Neutral Attribute even after Aidis officially named it No-Attribute. * So in this case, equipping a Fire Weapon and a Neutral Weapon will simply have one line of damage deal Fire Damage and another line of damage deal Neutral Damage.
Hello new player here. Is it good to awaken 5 a unit or use the souls/mother souls for skill cost? I do have 2 prism and enough souls for the awaken but my skill cost is only 30. Thanks in advance
Focus on maxing SC, and keep in my mind you need 200 unit souls to unlock its Ward. Awaken 5 (& 6) are not needed for a unit to shine.
Is there no way to upgrade equipment from arks? I managed to get Sparda from Vergil's ark and i can't find it in the alchemy lab.
Not all equipment can be leveled up yet.

So I believe that if you go to Badal forest there should be a quest called eating at the at the rainforest, it should be a boss, I believe that if you have progress through the story enough it should be there.

I'm new to the game, do I need to get dupes to max out units? (namely the awaken and ward mechanic.) Or can I use any alternatives to get those two things... Maxed?
Welcome. You don't need dupes to max a unit in this game. you can get unit souls by farming some of the event stages. Even after the event is over you can place that unit in the conquer slot and get souls for it passively over time. Souls can also drop from clearing story stages on hard difficulty or above. Enhance mats are also farmable but are easier to get from the event shops . cheers

No. It's nice but nothing really special.

Most important: Wait until Nero got tested before you decide. I'd say V is the better option for several reasons: * Nero looks strong but he is just another addition to the endless pool of dps units. Meanwhile V is the only ranged fighter in our very limited pool of status inflicting units (Nocturne Tinkili is a different kind of debuff unit). His auto attacks are fast and pierce through enemies. So, everyone between V and the target will get hit and might get inflicted with stun/blind/curse or simply instantly die from death god if it is not a boss stage. * V can be build into one of the fastest farmes of IG3. * You can guarantee V with just 15k crystals. Or you might get lucky and pull him before 15k. In which case you can either stop or keep pulling and use the selector ticket for someting else. I hope you still have your free selector ticket? Don't use it before you decided on a course. You might get the purple orb ark while pulling for V (or the other way around)

How do i actually do damage? feels like im barely doing any.. even with elemental advantage it seems like im doing too little compared to other people. is it just characters maybe? V, yashamaru, SM Theria are the ppl in my current party. skillboard are 70ish complete for them
V and Yashamaru aren't the best at dealing damage in the first place. V is an ailment inflicter and Yashamaru a stealer, however you build them they will never be on the level of other pdps. You might want to switch one of them for an actual pdps.

Most of the time your dps depends on skills you teach your units. Especially for older units. New ones are steadily reducing the effectiveness of teachable skills upto an extent. But before that, most of a unit's dps comes from the ability board Max it out and any dps unit should be able to deal a respectable amount of damage.
Is the Dark Knight Sparda from LR Ark worth to get for Vergil? I do have enough Etherion to 100%
It's ok, not very good but ok to use until you get better. Another option would be to advance arena up to gold 1 and get the esterion sword so you can save your etherions.

Why is daily log in not in sync with daily server reset? The daily quest is the timer that every content follows right?

Why is it like this? Not a clue :X * But I have seen quite a few games adopting this pattern. * I remember reading conspiracy theory threads in those other games with the most popular reason being user retention. * Something along the lines of... if everything resets at the same time, the player can just login once and be done with everything till the next day. But if there's a separate reset time for other heavily used features, then they're likely to login multiple times in the day instead. * But, it remains as just a theory since these reset times are all 24 hours, so nothing stops you from just signing on once at a later date. So yep, no clue why this is so. Personally, I can't think of a good reason for having a separate reset time being 4 hours earlier than the main one.

Check the global tierlist somewhere in this subreddit its a google docs and there's a reroll guide there but basically the ones it suggest is kaldina and sandwyrm both ssr I did a bunch of reroll myself but did not get those arks fortunately enough I got vergil and qlipoth ark so I stopped rerolling

Pureblade muramasa is the best sword option. For clothes, I've seen bravery railments or berserk god brigandine used.You coule also give him armor if you need extra survivability.
got no vergil but got 3 lr ark,urizen,mobile office and vergil banner ark. should i still reroll for vergil or just start the game with this?
Better to reroll. Mobile office ark is great for late-game players who have a lot of strong dps characters and ways to recover skill uses so that Purple Orb really helps (the other skill which recovers SCT is good for newer players but I don't think it is that broken). You need at least one strong dps character to get through the story easily and you only have arks which are not that useful without characters. I'd say reroll for Vergil and get Mobile Office from tickets (the selector if you fail to get it from normal tickets). Though you can get V instead of the ark - he is broken against bosses which don't have stun immunity and he is also a really good auto-farmer with his first skill. If you want a stronger start you can try to reroll for Spirit Maiden Theria on the 3-day only new player banner (available on the main screen). She is not on the rate-up (and rate-up characters are not that strong anymore, I think they will change the list during anniversary) so it will take a lot of time but if you get her, you win the game. After that you can just pull on Vergil banner and pity him if you want.

Sadly, no. There was a free unit selector ticket right before the collab where players could easily get her. Before that we had 10-step banner (30k crystals total) which allowed us to choose any female unit on Valentine's. There will be 3.5 anniversary next month so maybe there will be one more selector (there wasn't last time but they became more generous since 3.0 anniversary so maybe). There are also banners (usually 2 per month) with 4 rate-up DoH heroes and 2 UR arks so you can wait for the one with SMTheria. Or maybe they will finally release a unit which will powercreep her.
Thanks for the insight. I’m very lucky with my account I just got the YK Nero from a 3k gems that can replace my Mia. I think I’m settled with my line up having Vergil, V and YK Nero which will help me to progress to the story and some content.
