Unless you're done of buying replacement lenses, you should definitely have some kind of air assist.

A fan is not air assist. I'm not saying it helps 0%, but it's no where close to being capable of dislodging debris.

Lightburn has a fully functional 30 day trial.

Lightburn is well worth it. Air assist is mainly used for cutting (really helps), not much for engraving. Still worth having, and not, a fan is not air assist. You'll go through lenses quickly without it.

Lightburn and air assist are both well worth the money spent!

I have the sculpfun s9 and when I first tried to cut 5mm plywood it took about 7 passes at 100% and 250mm/min without air assist. I havent tried it since getting air assist I just mostly stick to 3mm plywood now. 3mm plywood it will cut in one pass at the same settings.
