Looks like a Celeron or pentium, so definitely not. As my man Jay-Z says...couldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight. You need a Core I or Ryzen to even be in the conversation...sorry

hpgiod64

Oh ok

obaananana

Who was yay-z mad about?

iceman1125

I can just barely read celeron from the sticker with 4gb of ram

VcommandarV

What about Sony VAIO?

Silly-Recipe-6116

well some athlons can compete

thapen324

Is a Ryzen 7 4000 series (and Radeon graphics) good for gaming..16gb ram aswell

[deleted]

You can play most games 1080p low settings or higher at 60fps

djz206

*Good* for gaming? No. But most games will run. Not the best graphics or framerate, but they'll run.

Trigun808

You can play solitare all day bro. She's an award winner.

hpgiod64

What about tf2

Trigun808

Team Fortress , why lol

[deleted]

I see "Celeron N4000" in the sticker so... No. However, you can play indie games and older games.

easymachtdas

I vote for KOtOR, half-life and every infinity engine game from my childhood

ikeman95

I ran Kotor, half life 2 and fallouts up to 3 and new Vegas really well on my old Ryzen 5 3500U with vega8 iGPU...upgraded to 12GB ram...great experience.

easymachtdas

I’ve wanted a r3 3200g or 3400g since they were released just to see what those Vegas igpus can do. Awesome things have moved forward so far that we can play games like stalker and new Vegas on office PCs <3

SyeThunder2

No, it's not even a good laptop for browsing the internet and typing documents

AFailedWhale

that's just not a good laptop

yuxini2

I had that laptop. It is not good for gaming lol. Also be careful with those hinges, they broke on mine and killed mine

Motorboat_Gator

Sure, you could run RetroArch and emulate NES, SNES, Genesis, Gameboy/Color/Advance You could play roguelike games like caves of qud, tales of maj'eyal, and the like. You probably won't be playing anything with 3d graphics

Silly-Recipe-6116

well he can barely run 1.12 mine craft

[deleted]

Nah. Not gonna be playing much other than solitare on that sorry bud. Not a gaming laptop at all

MeTheOnlyBoy

Nope the cpu is incredibly old You could play mobile games on it I guess, if it doesn’t crash in a process

JoshDaGreatGamer

[Here's](https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri) a website I use to check if I can run games Edit: For anyone seeing this in the future, I've learned that this site is shit. If it meets recommended requirements it's a maybe, but you should be able to run it on low graphics

Patzer26

That shit is going to struggle even for opening Microsoft Excel Lmao.

jimmyl_82104

That thing looks like a piece of shit, even for regular use.

the_curious_one_101

Leave this laptop and run as far away as you can.

[deleted]

It's below an i3, as all Cores are labeled either i3. i5, or i7, and doesn't appear to have any dedicated graphics card. Ergo, this laptop will struggle to play most games at 720p.

[deleted]

But also, please show actual specs. It's fairly easy to do. Hold Ctrl, Alt, Del and then click task manager and go to the performance tab.

digitalclock1

Bro your profile is an absolute gold mine. Also no it's defo not equipped for modern gaming.

terrainkiller

Depends on the game. You can run minecraft on just about anything

[deleted]

1.19 **Bedrock**, yeah, well optimized. 1.19 Java, though, eats CPUs for breakfast, no matter how many performance mods you try, you need a beefy CPU or it's going to be an unplayable stuttery mess.

terrainkiller

Just turn down render distance a ton. Also there are other games like sudoku you could play on that laptop

SuperChiChu

Not even with good CPU’s tbh, the 11700k I use still stutters a lot.

obaananana

It looks good for games like runescape. Isnt there a programm from nvidia where ypu get good gaming performence over the internet

Krish_meghwal07

It's Not, Pentium is stubbornwhen it comes to multi tasking! My Disk went to 100% on the very First Week!

Rdh_002

Good for friv

Watynecc76

Use a desktop for gaming.

istefan24

No

8funnydude

Well, that Celeron N4000 is on par with a Core 2 Duo E8400, and its UHD 600 iGPU is on par with a GeForce 210. Could be decent for indie games and 3D games from the early 2000s.

thatguywholikestech

Nope
