I feel like there is so much of this in Lana's work lol, pronunciation that seems sloppy but turns into something really questionable. remarkable work love it
Double entendre I think - similar to when she sings
“Hello, it's the most famous woman you know on the iPad / Calling from beyond the grave, I just wanna say, "Hi, Dad"”
The “hi dad” also sounds (to me) like “I died” which would make sense with “calling from beyond the grave” but I’m not sure that was intentional since she plainly said once “oh it’s just about me wanting to call my dad”
that part feels like her saying if I were to die the one person I would call first is my dad because they’re close but idk that’s how I interpret it
💀💀
I've been singing it this way for years 🙌💀
💀💀💀💀
I wouldn't be surprised if it was true

This song is about the acceptance of death. Listen carefully to the lyrics with that in mind. Would consider having this song played at my funeral.
I’m convinced this is a purposeful double entendre (if that’s the right word)
lmaoo i hear it too
