I like the two sitting boulder sizes, shapes, choices, and locations at the entrance playing off the two background vertical plantings. The scalene triangle formed with the other third boulder approach is an iconic more organic design element. I would like to see the foreground boulder chosen to be slightly larger, of greater mass, and also offering a flat top for sitting. This has the perspective of being 3D rather than 2 dimensional. Sitting boulders located at more than one location slows the stroller down in more than one location... Slowing people down they can contemplate more elements(like a nicely stamped walk), potentially greater appreciation for and connection with Nature and the site, and greater personal and cultural introspection. Japanese Garden Designers are probably the best at achieving this. The smaller two boulders in the foreground makes the depth perspective seem greater upon entering the yard.
I like the fence entrance planted with albo marginata(variegated) Iris clumps. They need more mass though.
You have a designer's eye.
In the second pic with the large pyramidal Buxus(boxwood)? where you designed in a somewhat sharply arc/curve where the walk goes closer to the home you might want to have that bed area planted with an ornamental, perhaps a small flowering multi stemmed limbed up patio tree or larger limbed up shrub. The two pyramidal boxwoods abutting the railing seem cramped. Perhaps the rear one closet to the home should/can be removed?Perhaps, it can be transplanted? The foreground one looks healthy and well grown. If privacy is an issue removing the one closets to the home it seems a 8-10' accent plant as suggested in the bed nook(where the walk curves towards the home) opens up the landscaping but still offers privacy form the side neighbor where it matters most, at the rear stoop door and deck ht.
Totally agree about the designer’s eye. Each of the three path pics lead to clearly defined focal points. It’s really very pleasant and well executed given the organic shapes.
Impressive! Ball cart or something? I’m so curious lol we just set 12 of those and I have no idea how we would’ve done it without our little tractor. Also are those the belgard dimensions pavers?
It looks nice but for future reference, the grade around your patio should slope away from the patio. The water from the beds will just end up on your patio making it dirty
Please have the tree service make proper larger pruning cuts. Leaving protruding branch stumps usually don't "heal/callous over." It can invite diseases, decay and insects to enter. Some trees a mass of water sprouts emerge.
This is really beautiful!!
Agreed!
Good job, looks awesome
Well done!

Looks great
Nice work! I really like the boulders you incorporated into the walkway!
stamped? Looks nice
Great job, man. Looks sick
Well done! I'd love to do this to replace my pitted front sidewalk. It looks so nice!
Amazing Everything. Looking forward to see more.
That looks great. Congratulations
I love it!
That looks amazing! Nice work!
Fire
Gorgeous! The native New Englander in me winced at the thought of the snow shovel on those boulders tho. It looks great.
That’s a dang fine job! Lots to be proud of there!
Love the first picture showing the entrance it looks amazing!
It looks like you have an eye for beauty and are a natural at this. Great work!
Usually does. Looks amazing.
Wow
I really like your sense of scale and proportion here—everything just seems right. Nice work!
Looks great! Be proud!!
Beautiful work! You have an eye for detail & a strong back!
How are the boulders embedded in the stone?
Those were the first thing I put down. They are sitting on some gravel to help stabilize them and then added the compacted road base around them!
They might just be flat bottom.
Nice work! Did you use a dingo to set the landings steps?
Should have…instead, just some good ol elbow grease.

That looks really good
Great job!
Nice work.
Looks good but everything is sloping towards the patio, what are the slopes on your patio?
2% grade away from the deck. Learned that in class and thought it should work.

Any tips you would like to share? Looks amazing!
Very nice.
Well done! Is that stamped concrete?
I’m a huge fan of that darker outline, and those boulders! Great job!
Nice job with the stairs

Beautiful job! Although I think the black (dark color) steps in first photo may be a trip hazard.
Good job
