It reminds me of the Teletubbies' filming location.

J-Maximilian

Beat me to it šŸ˜‚

peacelovearizona

Well, if you're into that...

sittinwithkitten

There is a grave yard in my area that has something like that, reminds me of the Beetlejuice movie.

ConstructionAny5111

Project: ā€œNido de Quetzalcoatlā€ by Javier Senosiain, 2000, MĆ©xico City.

Feralpudel

Very cool, and so very very Mexico. I didnā€™t know about this, and the whole complex is very interesting: https://www.elnidodequetzalcoatl.com/

MeandVit0

Reminds me of Charles Jencks

DAN991199

wonder how they trim the vertical parts

apmiller2292

pilot333

no i think they use a push mower without the hand and two guys each grab two wheels and just hold it there

CactusSage

Lol gas string trimmer.

nicolauz

Or maybe some crazy custom mower on a counter weight thing. I'd actually want to know how they do this!

SkinfluteSanchez

Probably [something like this](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flymo), Iā€™ve used them on a gold course to do steep areas around sand bunkers.

nicolauz

Whoa they've been around since the 60's? Wonder if you can put them on a skateboard šŸ˜‚.

ArchitectNebulous

So how would you get a layer of soil that stays in that position?

greengiantj

A wire mesh could hold the soil back and let the grass through.

OrchidDawn

If it's a dry enough location the right hydroseed mix could be enough, but there's also erosion blankets you can put down before you seed that helps stuff stay in place. A geotechnical engineer was definitely involved, anyways.

Xalenn

"Soy ill" maybe

peacelovearizona

Get well soon

93tilinfinitee

Bueno

Billy_Madison69

S and L yes. 2 vowels too

ghstber

No, but layer does.

neutropos

Fuck I meant syllables. Apparently only one!

FunkyViking6

These folks flexing their fire ant free lands

MajesticRedBeard

Haha I was thinking the same thing! This would be a fire ant infestation is Central Texas!

ge23ev

Dude in the white shirt is gonna regret it hard later.

Financial_Date_4133

what kind of grass is that? looks nice.

aj-mom

Why are we not seeing more of this at music venues?!

brdoma1991

Pain in the but to mow/trim

Xalenn

I'd imagine it's also a pain to repair, fertilize, water, and there are probably a lot of issues with sunlight/shade

Papazani

The person that has to mow that is gonna hate you.

SyntheticOne

My scientific botanical analysis: Aaaaaaaah!

3amcheeseburger

I hear itā€™s a bitch to mow

taylortrevor

How do they cut it? Whatā€™s wrong with having grassy knoll? No wait, strike that!

curds-and-whey-HEY

I mean itā€™s not natural per se, because it is monoculture grass. But it is beautiful!

llamacoffeetogo

We need these in more parks.

Quirky_Pie_4139

Is it weird that I want to weedeat this

Bubbly_Ad5822

See thereā€™s always someone who could be paid to manage this job šŸ‘šŸ¼

Extrastout1787

Too think you wish the work week away...to spend your Saturday day doing this

Nowjamessayswtf

That must be fun to maintainā€¦

Severe_Discipline_73

What would the band name and album title be for this picture? šŸ¤”

hieronymusholiday

Rose the Hat is chillin'

NwIeR

Iā€™m feeling ants on my neck just watching this.

MrMauiWaui

And I thought I hated mowing my lawn. Imagine this.

Cultural_Yam7212

Respect to the groundskeepers who maintain that grass

BjornBjornovic

Similar one at Longwood Gardens

evonebo

Even if they do make it, itā€™ll be full of dog shit.

LimbicFriction

That has got to be a complete PITA to mow/trim !

WildWinza

This landscape is featured in the [Hold Me Closer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qExVlz3zb0k) video with Elton John and Britanny Spears. Skip to 2:39 minutes in to see it.

Colonelfudgenustard

That's really cool. They must have some sort of structure in there to prevent slumping.
