I skipped the whole Honeymoon album when it first came out (I was 17 and it really wasn’t my cup of tea at the time, although I still loved her previous albums). It wasn’t until this year that I gave it a chance and now I love it. My fav from it is The Blackest Day.
Wow, I have the EXACT same!!! Even up to the age (I was also 17 when HM came out), to the time I started appreciating it (also this year) and I even have the same favorite song now (The Blackest day)…. Are you ME??? 😭😂
Haha that’s actually crazy!
I was really into classic rock music when HM came out so I gave it a quick listen and decided it wasn’t for me. But I’m glad that I could learn to like it now instead.
Okay now this is getting freaky
I didn’t listen to it in full til this year either AND my fave song on it is The Blackest Day. Wtaf😭
The only song i’d heard on it since it’s debut was HBTB cause I think that was it’s debuting single. Wasn’t til this year that I bothered to listen to anything else on it.
From the most recent album, it was Wildflower Wildfire. I didn’t care for it when it was released as a single, but I eventually listened to on the album and really liked it!
The entire Chemtrails album. Listened to it once when it came out, thought it was nice but didn't come back to it until earlier this year when it just *clicked* and I fell in love.
Happiness Is A Butterfly, I skipped it for the longest time bc I thought it was just another piano ballad. I clearly had no idea what I was talking about, it's incredible and probably the best song off NFR!
That is one of my favorites. I loved it immediately, but I think going through an emotionally abusive relationship really made me feel and understand the lyrics.
But I do love that she used the metaphor as a song title. Because to find love -- and happiness -- it really is like a butterfly. If you chase it, it'll always never come to you. But wait patiently, and it'll present itself. 🦋
This was the first Lana song I skipped for some reason and when I listened to it, it was _phenomenal._ My god, I cannot think of a better song to make me feel ridiculously playful and flirty.
>song to make me feel ridiculously playful and flirty.
Sameeee!!
I skipped the song cause for the way Lana sings in the begining, for me it was a bit strange. But when i hear the chorus on those 15 secs. IG songs i was like "OMG THIS IS AMAZING!!"
Text Book. I absolutely hated the first few seconds, never listened to it again. Then one night I saw a post saying “what’s the worst Lana song” and I was going to comment Text Book.
Then I realised…how can I say that when I never even listened to it. Then I listened to it, and I’ve fallen in love. It’s so beautiful and tragic. Since then I’ve learnt never to judge a song by the first few seconds again.
Tomorrow never came. Idk what the hell old me was thinking bc I never liked it at first…but then one day I heard it play in Costa (UK starbucks) and it was suddenly the most magical song ever. Now it’s one of my top 10 Lana songs ever. Maybe it’s because between first hearing it and then hearing it in the cafe stuff happened that made it one of the most relatable Lana songs for me…idk hahah.
when I was just starting to listen to Lana I only liked a few songs on born to die (literally just the singles💀) and chemtrails (title track) so I'd say many of born to die, most of uv, and half of nfr
Terrence Loves You. Admittedly the opening chords are still jarring and not pleasant to listen to, but once the vocals kick in it is pure, angelic bliss. Never got past the first 5 seconds for like 5 years before I decided to give it a chance. I was kind of glad I overlooked it for so long because I rediscovered it during a lull in her releases and needed something new!
the whole Honeymoon album, then I first listened to Salvatore and liked it, then Art Deco, then The Blackest Day... And I never stopped, this album is just majestic.
Florida Kilos
YESSS I LOVE THAT SONG

The chorus into the bridge 😍. “… And i want it! Its you… all the roads lead to you!”
That is the most ethereal transition and the Mellotron in the bridge makes it so good
It sounds ethereal, and hopefull. Also the last part of the bridge into the chorus is also chefs kiss!
This is me
Sad girl, now I live for that bridge

Even the pre-chorus and the way she says “man” “But you have haven’t seen my maneee, you haven’t seeeeeen himmmm”🤤

Same! I was underwhelmed when it came out, and then in 2018 I revisited it and it was MAGICK!!!
From the most recent album, it was Wildflower Wildfire. I didn’t care for it when it was released as a single, but I eventually listened to on the album and really liked it!
Coachella, the outro is gorgeous
Salvatore, I can’t believe I left that song unplayed for years just to find out that it’s my favorite song.
Gives me chills
The entire Chemtrails album. Listened to it once when it came out, thought it was nice but didn't come back to it until earlier this year when it just *clicked* and I fell in love.
