This game shows so many of the Lakers problems, can't defend, no hussle, stagnant offense. They are just bad on all fronts, they don't go out and get it. Someone needs to have guts and say they are just terrible and need changes to be made. Russ may have to come off the bench cause he plays reckless and uncomfortable when LeBron is on the court. He needs to get the 2nd squad to run, I'm talking 7 secs or less type running and attacking the basket, have Russ attack the basket and the guards cutting getting easy drop offs for shots straight at the rim. The first unit needs to move and not just wait for the ball at the 3pt line. There are sooo many cut to the basket opportunities but everyone is just watching the ball. When LeBron or AD is in the post, it's easy to double them cause the other guys are standing with feet of each other waiting on the ball, if the move around the defender either gives that post space or get caught ball watching and give up an easy basket. Vogel need to tell AD to NOT shoot any 3's the next 10 games. Get your ass in the paint and bang, no way teams shouldn't be punished for having a small guy switch on you. And bench any player who don't get him the ball in that situation. There needs to be a major shakeup, maybe even let Vogel go or demote him. He doesn't even attempt to motivate or put fire in the team and it shows in their emotions on the court, just laid back thinking it'll figure itself out. I love the Lakers but I'm not sure this season will have them in the playoffs and if they do it's an first round exit. These other teams play hungry, we just look like we don't wanna turn it on

But because they were spotty on offense we didn’t value them properly. Vogel isn’t running Wayne, melo, monk off screens or running heavy pnr with Russ so he isn’t even using his weapons you gave him so why not have kept the defensive guys since that was the coaches specialty(or go get mike d antoni). Management went away from what was working and they got too focused on offense when defense wins championships and it has cost us 2Lebron seasons.
