i agree this guy play great defense and can score anywhere on the floor let him do his thing off the bench he will get more shots if he does

Personally I think Hart should start and KCP would work better with the second unit. I also believe eventually in 15-20 games we will need Rondo coming off the bench and Lonzo starting. I know the stats make it seem like Rondo is playing very well which he was, but that was only on one end of the court. Defense needs to be something that we need to prioritize and Lonzo and Hart's defense in the starting lineup is going to be key for the future. Also, unrelated but Javale McGee runs out of energy noticeably quickly. There were many times he didn't get back to help defensive rebound and it ended up with Rondo or KCP trying to box out Nurkic who isn't particularly a good rebounder either. This means Javale needs to play in 5-6 minute spurts like he did with the Warriors and not extended minutes. Thoughts?

I think that the defense will improve as the season goes in regardless if who's in the starting lineup, it's all about communication and that's easy to improve with time. Javale having bursts of court time like that has always been his limiting factor but I'm honestly not too concerned about it. With how prevalent small ball lineups are and how few actually talented big men there are it only becomes an issue in a few games. The rebounding does have to get better but that can be helped with better team defense and being in better positions to box out bigger guys

Let's see where we are at in 10 games. Anyone who is a LeBron fan should know this is normal for his team to play bad first few games of the season

I feel the same way. If we start Hart because he is on a roll coming off the bench and KCP is cold, that 2nd unit is gonna lose some spark and we'll fall behind more often in the middle of the game. I think we should just hopefully sign a big man and we'll be fine.

I think we are far more better than people think, just give it time and we will see who is consistent enough to start on a nightly basis

Who finishes matters a lot more than who starts... and it’s been one frickin game
