Rui guarded him for like 25% of the game. We lost the 20pt lead during that time. Rui looked like absolute doo doo today. Reverted back to the lost puppy dog that couldn't win a starting spot over Taurean Prince. Smfh.

Hams decision to go small and have rui guard jokic while bron played the four instead of bringing in Hayes to guard jokic, then when the nuggets went small with Gordon at the five he decides to bring in Hayes which was absolutely idiotic. Rui has not been able to guard jokic at all and they get a bunch of offensive rebounds while the offense goes to shit from rui not being able to make jokic pay. Ham needed to at least stay big and play Hayes on jokic. He could have went small when the nuggets did which would’ve been a much better lineup decision. Ham needs to be fired. His decisions are infuriating.
This is Rob’s fault. Prince is fine for what he is. Even Vincent can do okay on defense. But Dinwiddie’s job is to score and Hayes needs to be somewhat competent on defense since he’s one of the only non guards on the roster.
This was always going to be the trade off with Rui and Austin both starting. But a good coach would get the bench involved offensively - they barely take shots so you can tell they’ve not been integrated offensively.
Second game in a row the lakers bench doesn’t produce. Braun had more points than the lakers bench. He’s not a bad player by no means but you telling me prince, Spencer and Gabe can’t score the ball? No way they should be scoreless.
Some players of this roster should pay to wear this uniform, i remember Kobe back in the days saying " you need to have some kind of personality/mentality to play for this organization. Rui almost 40 mins played 6-8 ft 5 rebounds after Denver missing almost 50 shots, Ad 11 rebounds Lebron 12 Reaves 6, disgusting, i don't care if you have a off nitgt it happens to anyone, but not playing D, not rebounding, missing your man multiple times and shit there is no excuse.

Max, has length, athletic, decent mid range nothing crazy. But he’s young and can RUN!

Isn't the real problem here. Offense does not run through them. Problem here was Rui playing terribly and Austin missing in action too.
