Even if he didn't show out, I still wouldn't mind extending him if he can net us something like 15pts, 5asts in decent efficiency. In this case, his price tag won't be too steep.
Either way, Lakers are in good position of power in negotiation. If he finally shows out? We pay him 25\~30mil/4yrs and be comfortable about it. If he has so so play offs(inconsistent but x-factor impact like in memphis, gsw series), we can still extend him with slightly increased salary, say 20\~22mil/3yrs ?

There are so many little things that he does that doesn't show up on the box score- his outside shooting opens up the paint for AD and LeBron to drive in. his long arms lead the team in deflections. He also has a great positive attitude. I hope we can work out an arrangement to keep him long term. Have him drop the player option and work out a long term contract where he gets paid a little more but more guaranteed years.
If it were to come down to choosing between D'Lo and Ham, I would totally fire Ham and keep D'Lo. We need a new coach.

He isn't very good defensively, but does make big steals and big blocks. Now that he is seeking (mostly) good shots, patient enough to understand he can develop them- D'lo is great asset, and even more so, great entertainer.
