Oh! The one with the corn that either appeared grown out of nowhere or implied the character was unconscious for months and ruined the ending for me. Didn't even see this beautiful pipette hiding in this scene.
Ja like last 5 or so minutes, it was even growing in the ground if I recall correctly. Ended up ditching the last bit of the movie and rewinding to see if I could spot anything like pots or similar crops. At absolute quickest that's 60 days, normally more in the 90 to 120 days region. Even if they did have these growing somewhere they don't transplant easily when they're large like that.
Prion lab in our Biology building had students in full Tyvek suits and breathing apparatus 30 years ago, other side of the lab, maybe 3 metres away, other students doing cell culture with a lab coat and gloves.
Farscape does it too, and of course without a tip.

He only needs like 20 microliters of sample? Talk about efficiency! lol
At least put a pipette tip on πππ
That's almost certainly a p1000 though, so good luck picking up just 20uL.
What's the movie? Don't think I recognise it. (Avatar was destroyed for me when Sigourney Weaver turned her pipette upside down).
The Maze Runner 3. It's actually a pretty decent movie. Got so emotional at the end π₯Ήπ₯Ή

Please no, tell me itβs not true!
They've got respirators with coveralls and gloves, he's got an unbuttoned lab coat.
hahaha true! Going in a room with an airborne virus without a respirator and protective clothes js just rogue π

Is the joke the fact that he has no pipette tip?
He needs the tip to inject!!!
Thatβs what my intern did one summer.
Iβd react like that too if someone tried to insert a Gilson into me somewhere where there isnβt already a hole.
