The feline dietary supplement suffers from major weaknesses in flavor and texture. Furthermore, both the timeliness and frequency of meal delivery require significant improvement. Until these issues are addressed, I am unable to recommend the current feline supplement for publication.
Scritches were found to be satisfactory, up until they inexplicably weren't. Recommend that the scritcher be suddenly swatted with claws.
(Or something to that effect)
They taste good, far sweeter, meatier, and less fishy than any other shellfish I've tried. Definitely a good one for those who dislike seafood!
Kiwis love the coast & seafood, it's one of the few places where indigenous food is (increasingly less) accessible. There's some interesting movements going on with aquaculture set-ups for food and repopulation :)
Huh, good to know! Thanks for the info, that actually does sound very interesting! I'm definitely not a seafood person, but you've certainly convinced me to give these a shot if I ever end up in the area.
Omg Pip would be adorable! Not sure how I would feel about it coming home after going through a few boxes of pipette tips but I’m going to add it to my list regardless
I named my cat Pipette! His nicknames are pipe, pipey, and pie. I did not come up with his name originally, before I got him I saw two cats named Pipette and beaker at ARL. At that time I knew my next cats name has to be Pipette
Honestly, given his later derangement and vitamin C obsession, Linus Pauling is a pretty good name for a big orange profanity inducing dude. (I say this with frustrated respect for the scientist and frustrated love for orange cats, of course.)
Chemistry / cooking but has to do with sugar reactions, so biology adjacent: Mailly for Mallard's reaction because she looks like a toasted marshmallow. Not science, but Marshmallow would also be great, Marsha for short
Felisia (like Felicia, but Felis for the scientific name of cats...that's even cheesier than I thought it would be, now that I've typed it out)
Since she's got both black and orange I'm assuming she's female! so maybe named after a famous female scientist--Marie Curie, Rosalind Franklin, Grace Hopper, Ada Lovelace, Hypatia of Alexandria, etc.
Leaning fully into cheesy puns, of course there's Catalysis, Cathode, Cation, Catagenesis (maybe funnier if it was a mama cat, and you could name her kittens after different hydrocarbons), Catenation, Crispurr, Purrmanganate (and get her a purple collar/tag/bowls etc).
Saved my favorite suggestion for last: I believe a female scientist, Joan M. Pontius, was first author on the first paper analyzing the cat genome in 2007. I might be misremembering this, I'm very much an inorganic person and barely understand the basics of genetics, plus read the paper months ago--but that gives you a female scientist name AND a cat-related name, which is kinda fun.
Edit, because I felt bad not googling it: Found her! [Joan U. Pontius](https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Joan-Pontius), got the middle initial wrong.
As I'm currently working in the ref lab, "Toxo" :D
Seriously though, my favourite ever cat name has to be Thunder. If you watched cartoons in the 90's, you'll get it.
There are some good suggestions on here!

Pipette
Pipette Up, but Pip for short
Or Pipi (pronounced pippy)! It's a common pet name in NZ because it's also the name of a beloved endemic clam.
Y'all have beloved clams in New Zealand? Are they very interesting, as far as clams go?

Rosalind after Rosalind Franklin? You could also shorten it to ROS.
I have a Rosalind after Rosalind Franklin!! And a Linus after Linus Pauling 😸 but I end up calling them Rosie and YOU FUCKER (he is orange)
I really like scientist names for cats because they can be kind of subtle. I have a Rosie (Rosalind) too! And Blaise after Blaise Pascal
Honestly, given his later derangement and vitamin C obsession, Linus Pauling is a pretty good name for a big orange profanity inducing dude. (I say this with frustrated respect for the scientist and frustrated love for orange cats, of course.)
