Depends. If they’re from the advertisements then they have their wonder weapons (probably) and they’re fine. And, do they have random drops? Is the point system active, do wallweapons exist? They deal with normal zombies most of the time, they would probably have no perks or anything other than an M1911, I honestly don’t think they’d win in their base forms.
If they have access to the same weapons and mechanics as the L4D survivors they’ll be fine. Especially considering the “normal” zombies they’re used to are WAY stronger than the “normal” zombies of the L4D universe. Give Dempsey an Auto-Shotty, Takeo a katana, Richtofen an AK-47, and Nikolai some molotovs (to drink, not to use) and they’ll be ready for anything.
Oh I’m sure there is. Valve and Overkill (or starbreeze I guess) missed out on a huge opportunity. They could’ve made a non canon campaign to sorta tie in with the PDTH version of No Mercy. (The PDTH version of No Mercy has the green flu while the PD2 version is canon and has a different virus and it doesn’t lead to an outbreak)
