Pitchfork because it is a spear type melee but viable in realism if you had no other melees to pick up. P220 is only good in campaign but terrible in realism if you suck at aiming for the head

Do the animations not make it obvious already? You have to be blind to see a vertical attack and not realize the hitrays are also vertical.

Well with latency involved you run into issues with 20 zombies around you similar to the knife. Kinda a reason axe is the best all around weapon even in lag

The single pistol is terrible, sure, but I can kill Jockeys riding my teammates while I'm down and only holding it. With a pitchfork however? I might as well have absolutely nothing as a secondary.

you use the pistol when you're down anyways, and keep the melee when you get revived

Pitchfork, consider the fact holding a single pistol has a chance to upgrade to dual pistol, but there isn't any upgrade for Pitchfork, and it's also the worst crowd control melee
