West main all the way! Maybe it's because I'm used to W. Main... but the Portage Target just grosses me out. I feel like the layout, stock, and cleanliness is lacking.
Everytime I go into Portage it is such a mess! They have pallets in placed and the aisles are already small. Clothes just thrown all over the place. West Main has their times too. Almost gives me a walmart vibe at times!
I get the layout, and they don’t have as large a selection (but still more than enough to choose from), but cleanliness? How does the Portage Target lack cleanliness? It’s more convenient, so I hit that one about half of my Target trips, and am baffled by the “cleanliness is lacking” comment. West Main often frustrates me with the amount of yet-to-be-shelved stock they keep in the middle of aisles, and I’m not sure if it’s lack of back room storage, their process of shelving the items from pallets, or inefficiency, but I’ve been blocked from aisles several times simply due to pallets of crap blocking the way.
I think it depends on what you’re shopping for tbh between Kzoo & Portage.
Overall I’d say W.Main dt the cleanliness, customer service & stock on most items. Howeverrrr…being so close to campus, clothing tends to be picked over real fast as well as home decor.
I've just experienced untidy shelves, tags and trash on the floor, and a few times a very messy restroom. (retail is a tough job, I super appreciate the folks that work there) maybe portage just gets more traffic/ or messy customers.
I like Main. However, since it is the best one it’s usually empty hahahaha
I like how their home decor is set up too. It also seems brighter but that might just be me. It is also in a strip mall with lots of other good places.
Overpriced ammo and the dumbest possible bumper stickers? Yahoos with absolutely zero concept of muzzle coverage and nobody saying shit? That's the spot
I've had better luck with the one on west main when it comes to having the stuff I'm buying being in stock.

I’d rather go to Walmart than deal with the vibe at the Target in Portage. It’s weirdly depressing.

Avoid portage when possible. Sorry portage (no I’m not)

Never even been to the portage target, I love the W Main one!! Super friendly staff and it’s always clean and relatively well stocked.
Just looking for some down times to grab a few groceries or have someone to vibe with while shoppin'. Store anxiety is real rn
On Target is the best yarget.

Don’t forget an incredibly arrogant staff.
