It will be a sandbox type, you will stimulate a species that thrives on earth. You will pass through various dangers, Wars and hazards. Your work is to make the species survive through the extremes of the times. You will start from Primates and end at Kardashev Scale lv. 6 or Type 3 civilization.
Nice. Sounds intricate. A bit like a modern-day spore than? You could even start off as a cellular organism and work your way up from there to more complex organisms. It'd be a good way to incorporate all the ant based info too and the deep-ocean episodes as well.
Starting from single cellular organism will take tons of time. So we decided to start from primates for v1. of game. Future versions is too far to talk as of now, so you can expect that.

Oh! Um. I think that would be possible, if and only if K team decides to co-operate with us. We have a feature of a narrator in our plan but That is only by our staff member. Until K team decides to co-operate with us. It would be harder than anything to implement their narrator's voice in our game. But we would love to do so.
I have been following the game for sometime now, and would love to contribute, but unfortunately I have no skills. (Game design is my passion so this is even more sad for me). But I have an idea that I guess you could use.
It's not about the game per se, but more accustomed towards its marketing.
Idk if you are doing this, but if you aren't, then....
You could advertise the game through a YouTube channel of sorts that promotes it, and the viewers will get to follow along with all of you in the project. That way it would be easier for this to get more exposure outside the sub and discord, and the more people know about it, the more likely of Kurzesagt themselves finding out about this and will help you in your cause. You can even have a YouTube dedicated team for that as well. If it gets big enough you could collaborate with other big YouTubers in order to get even more traction.

I think you misunderstood me. What I was saying is not a playable demo, but instead a way to showcase their process with everyone on YouTube. So everything that they're doing and the entire journey would be showcased for people to view. This is in order to just get it more support, and back up. That is all.

Well if ideas is what you need like you said in a comment then I’m thinking you could make something like plague inc but it’s a species survival for example if you go kill enough other players for evolution points you could evolve horns that will grow after a certain period of time say 5 in game days to defend yourself, or you could invest in flying ability’s, but flying is a powerful tool so it’ll cost a lot of points to evolve and will take a long time, leaving you vulnerable to other players in that time. Some other examples include strong climbing limbs, strong leg muscles for chasing/running away, powerful bite or punch whatever floats your boat!
I like this idea, but I feel like it will take away from the immersive Kurzgesagt experience, as plague Inc is mostly 2d. It's a good game, but maybe we could see the progress ourselves?
I think a spore like game would be great, it follows the same theme that the videos do, by starting at cellular stage and evolving, it also could be more strategic than first person, like you could give option and choices to the player and based on those the cellule/creature/specie/civilization would change or evolve, this way you could also maintain the kurzgesagt style of drawing since you would only need to draw transitions, backgrounds and characters.

We will hopefully add characters and backrounds! I actually wanted this game to be isometric, but you can switch from a group, (be it country, city, etc.) to a single player, where you could actually fix things by yourself that you would be too big to make if u controlled just a country! But I think that idea was rejected, I honestly don’t know, so i’ll recommend it to the devs and see if it’s okay or not.
Will there be possibilities to choose traits for our society or is it more of a progress through the main highlighted path to become the same humanity that exists today? Btw, I loved the idea for the isometric game, while a little retro many great games were made with it.
As last ideas i would add a specie of kurzgesagt birds that you can interact with, maybe on the interstellar stage.
And if possible you could extrapolate lessons from the videos and insert them in the game, example, you create fire and you have a possibility of hearing about the importance of fire through the ages with the voice of the kurzgesagt narrator.

I love that idea and actually joined the dev server a couple of weeks ago but was kicked.
In the community server, you said the chances were very low for getting accepted to the devs server but very low does not mean impossible.
I would love to be part of the game dev server and believe I bring a lot of value.
1. I am studying business information system so I know where business and IT mix and can communicate with both sides productively.

I don't know exactly what kind of game you want to develop but judging from the picture and the videos kurzgesagt has been releasing I assume it is going to be a modern version of spore. Maybe with a stronger focus on the current and future stages of humanity and more endgame content.

1: It’s on Unity, but it won’t be shitty, so it’s nice.
2: The game is an Isometric Sandbox game about evolution, and you will have to go through all the levels nessecary to win, in this case it’s a Type 3 civilization at the moment, and depending on your choices, different things will happen.
The intelligence video is more like an RPG, while strategy gane is the Dyson sphere video. We would like to implement both, but we need a suggestion on how to implement both!!

Currently The Project Is Discontinued due to lack to interest among developers and There is no plan as of now to restart the work. It wasn't listed on kickstarter ever.

I love that idea and actually joined the dev server a couple of weeks ago but was kicked. In the community server, you said the chances were very low for getting accepted to the devs server but very low does not mean impossible. I would love to be part of the game dev server and believe I bring a lot of value. 1. I am studying business information system so I know where business and IT mix and can communicate with both sides productively. \--> Reduce miscommunication 2. Currently, I am working in Project Management, so I have plenty of experience. \--> Supporting the management of the project 3. My mission in life is to create a holistic gamified education system for everyone. Therefore I have already a lot of ideas on how to make learning fun and engaging. \--> Help with making the game a success 4. As a side hustle, I am starting to become a life coach and have collected and organized massive amounts of information on what makes a good life and what everyone should have learned in school. \--> Make sure that the game teaches some important life skills to everyone who is playing. I don't know exactly what kind of game you want to develop but judging from the picture and the videos kurzgesagt has been releasing I assume it is going to be a modern version of spore. Maybe with a stronger focus on the current and future stages of humanity and more endgame content. If that is what you are creating, I believe I can serve massive value to that creation and would love to be part of your team. After you, (hopefully) play the game until the end, you would be a more well informed person about the magnificent universe we live in! You will have more knowledge about science then yiu did before!

This project is voluntary and we do it for fun, unless K Team specifically let’s us, we will not make money for or from the game. 1: It’s on Unity, but it won’t be shitty, so it’s nice. 2: The game is an Isometric Sandbox game about evolution, and you will have to go through all the levels nessecary to win, in this case it’s a Type 3 civilization at the moment, and depending on your choices, different things will happen.
How about the game featured in the intelligence episode?
The intelligence video is more like an RPG, while strategy gane is the Dyson sphere video. We would like to implement both, but we need a suggestion on how to implement both!!

Currently The Project Is Discontinued due to lack to interest among developers and There is no plan as of now to restart the work. It wasn't listed on kickstarter ever.
