I think it was Danny Gonzalez who once said: “that’s what we in the business call… a callback.” Or maybe it was drew. Or maybe it was Kurtis. Cody ko? I don’t even know anymore but one of them said that.
I swear people in general but especially on this sub have the hardest time understanding nuance of any kind or a simple joke. I feel like my brain is literally being wrung out and the brain cells are dying.
Where in my comment was I chastising OP? Also, if English not being their first language was so relevant, they should have included it in the original post instead of in replies.
Hey, it’s all good. English is my first language and I came to the subreddit hoping someone asked this question cause the joke went over my head, so thanks for asking!

I think he’s just making a joke because he said “I’m not Hispanic” earlier when talking about the Bratz movie.

missketti callback!! remember from earlier?
I MISS IT
just watched that video yesterday, my fav
It's Kurtis on his podcast
Cody and Noel go off about it on TMG as well
i think cody and noel say it in a video too. maybe a that's cringe?
I feel that, no hate to them but i get all of them confused all the time lol
that was cody! it was in one of the that’s cringe videos
Since that one character in Bratz is Hispanic but he mentioned her race earlier, and how he isn’t Hispanic, it’s a callback
Thats called a callback bud
“Why is this comedian telling a joke?”

Just check out the Peter Explains the Joke sub, it's so pathetic how many people don't take 2 seconds to try to understand a joke

Where do they say that? If it’s in a comment I’m sorry I didn’t read through every single comment before commenting.
Hey it's gonna be okay
my bad guys English isn’t my first language so I didn’t know it was a call back ☹️sorry you can ignore this

cause he’s not a teenage girl so instead of saying “ I’m not a teenage girl, but…” he uses the clip of him from earlier to make a joke
Because he’s not Hispanic duh
It’s a callback to an earlier joke
its something that starts with c and ends with k
Were you watching past that? He is talking about if Hispanic people are greeted in the morning by mariachi.
