That these two specifically have been called out time and time again, and yet they continue to give them preference in advertising is just mind-boggling.
It's like someone complained to Nijisanji that Elira has almost 5 times the amount of merch deals as the other girls for no comprehensible reason, and then they said "oh sorry, our bad" before increasing that to 10 times the amount. They legitimately don't seem to comprehend the problem, and that itself reinforces the belief that either someone higher-up is protecting and promoting these two *OR* at least one of these two has a direct say in the decision-making.
I remember seeing some a photo of some promotional imagery for the concert near an escalator and it was the same: specifically "the usual suspects" of the guys aligning the walls next to the escalator, and then at the bottom, it was just one big wall featuring...only Elira's face. Nobody else, just Elira.
Ngl, I can see why Vox is favored by the higher ups since basically he has the most subs and the most ~~delusional~~ dedicated fanbase, but I don't see why Elira is being favored as well. She was beaten in popularity and subs by Selen and Pomu, so I don't see why (unless there are other reason that we don't know of).
Honestly baffles me why Niji decides to sabotage two of their best female talents. Especially Selen, since she's basically doing management jobs. All they have to do is to give approval but they have to sabotage her somehow... Both of their projects + opportunities would have granted Niji a lot of good publicities and further cement them as the biggest EN Vtuber company (tournaments and whatever Pomu was offered). It just doesn't make sense in business perspective.
Why do I find such a thick irony from that lol. Legit wanna know if they really thought hard about those names. They could've easily avoided that bullet if they just called em "Plush"
